So it must be true then eh Max? What about Froch saying he can beat Joe, is that true also :o

Do not a get a trophy and a belt mixed-up. Even though it is dumbed down to fook the BBC means something, so do its awards, I would imagine that is why Joe is talking about it. He would like to win it.

The Kessler fight, straight after Lacy, would have made a stronger case.
Froch couldn't never win 100 rounds against Calzaghe.

Tin Factory made awards mean something? Since when?

How would it of made a stronger case? No one outside of hardcore fans have heard of Kessler over here. Kessler's going for Beyer instead though and plus the way he battered Lacy makes a big enough case.

Probably does want the BBC award but the beeb would rather give it to a cricketer whos part of a team, which is unfair considering his teamates did part of the playing too yet they don't get one.

just to clarify, Joe just doesn't seem that pleasant or has enough character to win the award.
Well i suppose it might help to win a sports PERSONALITY award if you actually had one.

Froch should shut the smeg up about Henman and hope he performs to the (comparative) level that Henman has for the last decade or so.

How old is Froch, 27? By that time Henman was already the best in the country and in the world top 10 and as you don't have weight categories in Tennis then you could say that is P4P rated.

If boxing was organised the same way and there were 4 'Grand Slams' each year where Froch would have to get past Calzaghe or Kessler and other to win he wouldn't have a sniff!

Because of the way the 2 sports are organised it's very difficult to draw direct comparasions but if you could I don't think Froch is in Henmans league so has no right calling him a loser.

Even Calzaghe should curb his tongue, I'm sure if Henman had the luxury of hand-picking his opposition for one defence every 6 months or so, at home in front of the Wimbledone crowd promoted by ol Fwankie and ducking Federer & Roddick he would have reigned for a few years as a tennis 'world champion'.

Mouthy tosser, I hope Dodson flattens him.

They couldn't deny it to Lewis, he accomplished what no other Brit other than Bruno did for a century by being a world champ at HW, but the Americans maketed the HW division too well back then to keep the title in America.
