Great fighter and always seemed like a great guy. When he was fighting, it seemed like everyone I knew that followed boxing (there were a lot of people back then) was a fan of him.

No, he didn't. But, Sugar Ray looks like at 70 that he could still go in the ring with anybody. He looked very fit for his age. As a matter of fact, he looks like 30 years younger.

Happy belated birthday, Sugar Ray. Remember when him and Juanita got married. Unfortunately, that situation with his son kinda lingers, hope it's straightened out.

That's my favorite fight of all-time. I remember the build up for the fight and everything. It was one the most unforgettable nights in boxing in a decade of unforgettable fights. I love the 80s!
