I'm going to have to side with Valuev tonight, think a KO win in 8-9 rounds, don't think its going to be a pretty fight.
I was impressed with Barrett against Mesi, the way he came back after gettign hurt, also his win over Beck was good. But his display against Rahman was awful, and he's been out the ring for over a year since.
I see Barrett coming out fast throwing lots of hooks to try and surprise Valuev, but the giant russian covering up well and doing plenty of leaning on, after 3 rounds Valuevs' punches will start to tell, and he'll grind the fight out of Barrett.
Valuev v Barrett, any chance of an upset?

I think Barrett can cause an upset, note I'm not expecting it - but he is capable of doing it.
He is very durable (not sure why people are expecting a KO) and if Donald can at times outbox the Beast from the east then so can Barrett.
Alot will depend on which Barrett turns up, if its Barrett the pacifist vs Rahman and Wlad (his two biggest fights to date it must be noted) then I fully expect a dominant points win for Valuev.
But.... if its the Barrett who was involved in two excellent heavyweight contests vs Owen Beck, Dominique Guinn and the victim of a dodgy decision vs Joe Mesi - then we have a really tough fight to call IMO.

Well at least Barrett tried to win last night. He threw bombs at the giant in the first and hurt him, before Valuev clubbed him back and almost had Monte out of there seconds later.
Barrett just didn't have the fire power to win though, and Valuev just clubbed away with his weight behind the punches: enough to hurt most fighters, unless they know how to duck that is.
A very dangerous referee in there: John O'Brien I think. God knows where they found this guy from, he should be banned otherwise he's going to get some fighter killed in there.
Barrett was all sold out in the last, going down 2 or 3 times, but O'Brien was clearly going to let it continue until Monte was unconcious on the canvas. Luckily his disgusted cornerman jumped in and saved him in the end.
