Usyk takes this fight in Vegas.

Could Benavidez have become an interesting and stern challenge for cruiserweight Usyk or nah?

i think benavidez could have problems against a mover like usyk, david likes to be set to put those bursts together. i dont think caleb plant is better than zurdo, but with his movement he won some rounds and went the distance for comparison. id guess usyk would win a decision, although david is still sharp and quick enough to push him hard and make it competitive. id like to see david focus on the body in that one

Hell who knows. Maybe Usyk reigns for a couple more years, and Benavidez winds up challenging him someday for the Heavyweight Championship.

I’d have Usyk a strong favorite. Outside of the flurries the bigger Usyk would dominate the boxing. And i think Usyk would be too good at moving and countering to get beat up by those flashy Flurries. He couldn’t get rid of Morrell or plant or Gvozdyk, all far smaller guys that have been stopped badly by other people…

Benevidez is superb, but to me is a bully fighter, I just can’t see it working against Usyk. Who is/was bigger and better than anyone benevidez has fought by a long long way.

To me benevidez mythical match ups are canelo, Bert, and Bivol… I’d be horny for any of them… especialy Bert…
