Joshua isnt what he was, thats for sure. Jake Paul managed to tag Joshua, what happens if Prenga clips him like Jake did?
Did Paul 'manage' to tag Joshua or was AJ just not bothered about what was coming back at him?

He'll, hopefully, be a bit more alert against a big, hard punching, lump.

Saying that, since his losses to Usyk in 2021/22, his opponents have been very underwhelming, other than Dubois.

I'll still be taking the day off to watch him v Fury though :OhYes:

Ive studied Prenga, yes he isnt brilliant but ive seen worse, he can jab and hold, has a reasonable back hand but throws a lovely backhand uppercut when in the pocket. He is also big and rangy, which means Joshua really doesnt need to go backwards in straight lines (which he does)

is this another Amir Khan v Breidis Prescott waiting to happen.

Should his management really have put him in with a feather fisted opponent that would give him rounds instead of a heavy handed rangy fighter.
prenga has shown he's a puncher vs a total of zero credible opponents

Yeah I can’t see even a hint of banana skin about this one. I also can’t see how as a warm up fight for Fury it benefits AJ in the slightest.

But that’s what was insisted upon.

I felt the same but the two of them fight in consecutive weeks so from a marketing/promotion points of view it'll be a big deal.

I'm not sure if Fury will fly to Saudi to watch AJ but Joshua did say he's going to Dublin to watch Fury so that will be all over our tellys & internet.

Also, at almost 40, it's probably good for Fury to stay busy. Although that does risk a chance of injury or cuts.

I'd imagine the purpose of this bout is strictly to get Joshua back into the Heavyweight Top 10 which will add at least a slight amount of credibility to the Joshua vs Fury bout I guess.

Who actually wants to see Joshua get ironed out? Personally I think I do, I always love an underdog no hoper.
