The coverage is supposed to be on Sky 1, but I've turned over and it seems to be Formula One.

margaret thatcher wrote: Yesterday, 14:01 realistically i dont think harvey will find that major backing. a non punching flabby 6 footer already with a blemished record just isnt appealing. his style isnt fun either. ya dychko barely threw but harvey barely threw much more.

he could get some good work as an opponent though, and those fights will pay. he looks durable so far and isnt a ko threat. doesnt throw many shots. house fighters can get in rounds vs a guy who wont work them too hard or wipe them out.
At Cruiser he wouldn’t be flabby and would carry power.
lets be realistic here, he's not going to make cruiser. he probably could with discipline, but we hardly ever see these long time pudgy guys just turn it around, drop 40 pounds suddenly and then make cruiser consistentlly. also, why does he need backing not to be flabby? hes chubbier than the average bloke who just works out casually a few times a week

also, im not sure he'd carry power. plenty of cruisers move up to hw and are still hurting /stopping guys at hw. harvey has shown 0 power at hw. hes a good mover with some speed and tricks, not a puncher
Because he’s working a full time job and running a gym.

Yes - but not easy!

Needs full time backing.
He could easily lose 40 pounds and get down to 200 with a little work.
There is a lot of flab on that dude.
Needs to get on the jabs for a month
2 months on that jab and that fat bastard will look like me now. :yay:
Thats how I looked at 260.
Now down to 215 after less than 3 months. If my old fat ass can do it. Then this guy can do it

Been watching him since he was a kid, it's a bit cliche but he did always stand out from the rest even in the ams, I'd be lying if said I thought he'd got on to win Gold at the Commonwealths and turn pro and get gigs on Sky as the A-side

He’s certainly got work ethic especially when you consider his job is very physical

Ten days notice, much bigger opponent. Only one who wanted to fight.

He’d be a force at cruiser.
Do you think he could make the weight mate?
Yes - but not easy!

Needs full time backing.
Well I hope he finds it Frostie will always back a hard worker

working a job is called adulting. working a physical job should help keep him fit if anything. i dont understand this argument at all that the ample spare tire is because he has to work. he has no excuse to be flabbier than me

I’m acutely aware of what being an adult entails. Frostie said he’s running a gym working full time and taking fights on no notice.

I’m saying good luck to him and hope he gets to give it a full time go.
