It's not like I disagree with anything you've said, but I don't want to give Vance a leg up. About a third of the country and perhaps a third of Western Civilization has a very severe psychological problem with him.

IMHO we haven't had a good president since Obama. I also thought Reagan and Bush41 were good presidents, so I am not hyper partisan. Historically, we have had a series of good and bad presidents in a row. FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, and Kennedy were a pretty good run.

That's a good question. Trump ended Bill Cassidy's career in politics, yet Cassidy still voted against shutting down Trump's corrupt slush fund. He's on his way out because of Trump, still no spine in sight.
