Fighters with best body punch resistance
Iron chins are often discussed here on forum. But what about midsection? Which fighters can take lot of body shots without being affected by them?

"We"? Do you associate yourself with anyone else? You took that personally, so there is someone hurt, indeed.joshj909 wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 04:42Tell us how he hurt youfifth_root wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 04:17 I can tell you one current champion, holding also the title for the weakest body ever...![]()

Which pretty much confirms you’re just a hater. Makes sense now..
Is your girlfriend in love with Usyk or something?
The hate boner is crazy.
To your "point":
Usyk has eaten hard body shots from power punchers like AJ, Fury and Dubois for years and has never been dropped. One controversial low blow from Dubois doesn’t suddenly make him “not resistant to body punches”. That’s just selective hate..
With so much hate in you, you're not gonna make it far in life.

Iran Barkley hit Roberto Duran with murderous body shots and they paid no dividends at all. Luigi Minchillo took brutal body shots from Hearns.

Re: Fighters with best body punch resistance
Iran Barkley himself was getting folded in half with body shots from Hearns in their first fight, but they seemed to have minimal effect, although, to be fair, that wasn't a long fight.
Re: Fighters with best body punch resistance
I thought Barkley was getting hurt by Hearns' body shots and him getting folded in half by them is my evidence. Either way, one of my favorite bouts ever even though I was backing Hearns to win.
Re: Fighters with best body punch resistance
I thought Usyk took some hellacious shots to the body from Fury in their first fight. I remember watching that in the 4th or so thinking he wouldn't be able to go the full 12.

Re: Fighters with best body punch resistance
I think Oleksandr Uysk's overall fitness, and endurance aids in his resolve at heavyweight 'I think he was hurt by Tyson Fury, and Anthony Joshua'.
Note: The most clear round any heavyweight has scored vs. Oleksandr Uysk 'was Anthony Joshua round 9 fight two. Uysk was bombarded with body attacks from Joshua, and seemingly had no answer to his forward momentum. It is in my opinion the most dominant round any heavyweight fighter has achieved vs. Uysk as a Heavyweight Champion'.
I don't think Oleksandr Uysk is one of the strongest or most durable fighters 'to body attacks. He by far too much complains when hit to the body. Oleksandr Uysk was trying his best to draw a foul vs. Anthony Joshua II, like a soccer player in their rematch'.
It was a tactical mistake by Anthony Joshua to suddenly stop attacking the body of Uysk so forcefully after the 9th round 'but still a great effort by him in that fight. I have always believed and proven many times before? That Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Uysk II, is statistically the closest any fighter has pushed Uysk as a Heavyweight Champion'.
So overall yes, Oleksandr Uysk does seem durable 'but? This may be a controversial opinion. I don't think he is as durable as Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua'.
Oleksandr Uysk will take one punch 'get hurt, then escape i.e. his fitness aids in his survival'.
Whereas I have seen Anthony Joshua take a colossal power punch from Wladimir KIltscko 'get back up, to then be bombarded with heavyweight attacks'.
Joshua's overall durability is underrated 'he rose back up from the canvas, again and again vs. Andy Ruiz Junior I. And even while severely concussed vs. Daniel Dubois? He fought his way back into that fight, and nearly turned it around during round 5. Joshua still got back up just after the referee's count of 10 when he was knocked out'.
The facts are: We have not seen Oleksandr Uysk subjected to a sustained consistent heavyweight attacks 'his durability is nowhere near the levels of Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson and more'.
To conclude: Yes so currently right now at Heavyweight 'Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, most likely have the most proven durability. Joshua has fought the most top level power punchers of his era, and in reality he has only been knocked out once vs. Dubois I. And like I said before? He was still scrambling and climbing his way back to his feet in round 5' etc.
