He doesn't "believe" it. He knows it as a fact of life. He's been elected twice and bilked this country out of Millions and Millions of dollars, and many still lap up his every word.

If he went on TV tomorrow and said. It's a Democrat conspiracy for men to be beholden to their wives and that the Republican and manly thing to do was to be gay, then all of his supporters would drop to their knees ready to suck dick because Daddy Don said so.

His supporters don't think. They listen to what they're told.

I get that the cult thing can happen, that people will follow a leader. What I can't wrap my head around is that they will follow someone as demonstrably stupid as Trump. I have literally never heard a single sentence come out of that man's mouth that even sounded normal, let alone profound. He sounds like complete moron all the time, no exception.

He speaks to them as if he hates the people that they hate. He doesn't have to say anything good. He's the kinda bad that they are.

True dat, a lot of hatred involved. Also a degree of self loathing, low self-esteem and an inferiority complex that manifests itself in latching on to a bully who punches down on the minorities they hate.

If he doesn't do that, then the war could have gone on for much longer. Japan should have surrendered before the first bomb and certainly after the first one. They should not have bombed Pearl Harbor. They should not have done what they did in the Philippines. Should not have been in league with Hitler in the first place.
