Hello Evren,
A while back there were a few things that came out of Don Kings Archives, mostly undercard fights from the late 1980's early 1990's which surfaced underground one which I recall involved Miguel Arrozal vs Eloy Rojas, Arrozal was a hard punching Fillipino who provided champion Eloy Rojas with an exciting 12 round fight, a friend of mine was helping out Arrozal and got a copy of the complete fight from Kings Archive. Don King caught wind that the fight was making the rounds and was very annoyed that the fight surfaced on the black market. I could not say with any confidence that he has lightened up on his rigid views regarding his film archives however as we have seen with other archive collections when there is a changing of the guard you can bet that some of the archival material will find it's way to collectors such as you and I for the right price! I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of Don. I'm going to approach him like a brother. I have a way with people like him.

Re: Earnie Shaver's(earlist recorded fight on film)
anyone know if Earnie Shavers vrs LeRoy Boone was televised (or filmed)?
That had been a MAPS (Muhammad Ali Professional Sports) promotion by Harold Smith $$$$.
Shavers described the fight in his book as a "Real Barn Burner)

I fought on the undercard of him and Quick Tillis
He showed up with no corner men.
My trainer worked his corner.
I guess by that time he was a journeyman.
Went the distance with Quick though.
Looking at his record, he was a prospect until after he fought Shavers.

I noticed that LeRoy Boone looked kind of "lonesome" in the corner there.
Perhaps he just wanted to save money then hiring some cornermen.
