Re: Joe Louis versus Ken Norton
Competitive fight for a bit with Norton having his moments of being able to Bull Louis around with his greater strength. The trouble for Norton is he's gonna keep trying to get inside on the best inside fighter in the history of Heavyweight Boxing. So even when he tactically gets what he wants. He's stepping right into Joe's wheelhouse, and Joe has better punching power, punching variety, hand speed, and accuracy.
All that adds up to Louis knocking Norton out somewhere in the midst of this fight.

Re: Joe Louis versus Ken Norton
I'm going to predict Louis by 10th round Ko.
Not likely to be an early rounds Ko for Louis simply because of Louis's More typically "Methodically aggressive" approach.
Obviously there were bouts where Louis basically Had to take a Quicker Starter/Frontrunner, almost Swarmer approach due to an extra aggressive opponent, but being that Norton was typically much more of a defensively minded boxer, usually anyway, it's likely We're going to see a good all around well balanced bout with dosages of various elements.
I think once Louis realizes after awhile that Norton can only do so much in this bout, especially while too tired out to block and evade Louis's heavy punches well enough, He(Louis) goes into full on aggressive slugger mode, then gets Norton softened up enough before wobbling him and then does his devastating "Joe Louis Prime Finisher" dosage of vicious Ko punch combos.
