Isn't AJ one as well? He's based in Dubai now.
The number of days in UK is not the issue, it’s about being taxed by HMRC on income earned in the UK.

I haven’t been keeping up to date but I remember it became an issue for tennis players at Wimbledon back in the day with HMRC wanting to tax not only their winnings but also any sponsorship income they had made in the year on a pro rata basis.

So say you played 10 tournaments a year, one being Wimbledon (10%) , they didn’t only want to tax you on tournament winnings from Wimbledon, but also wanted to tax 10% of all your other sponsorship earnings. So say you were getting £10m per annum from Nike, they would want to tax £1m of that too.

(Or something along those lines )
This in a nutshell is why America exists. We didn't put up with that sh*t.
Try being a US citizen living abroad. Uncle Sam wants a slice of your worldwide income.

Tyson Fury vs. Mariusz Wach broadcaster: 'This fight will not be streamed live," Fury claims

Tyson Fury will fight Mariusz Wach on July 24 in Pattaya, Thailand, and should anyone wish to watch the heavyweight clash they will need to attend in person, Fury has claimed.

The contest is designed as a warm up for a proposed Anthony Joshua showdown later in the year. Joshua will dust off his gloves the following day, in Saudi Arabia, with the hope that the Fury contest will be confirmed thereafter.

Though the 46-year-old Wach, 39-13 (20 KOs), is an underwhelming opponent, it's still a curious move by Team Fury to decide against live coverage. Netflix do appear on the marketing poster but their cameras will be in place to only record footage for Fury's reality series.

Fury, 35-2-1 (24 KOs), wrote on Instagram: "This great fight will not be streamed live! It will only be broadcast on my hit Netflix TV show At Home with the Furys season 3."

Boxing Scene understands that though there is no broadcaster in place, and there are no plans to get one, the contest being streamed live on Goldstar's YouTube channel is being considered.

Wach hasn't beaten a worthwhile opponent since 2017 when he outpointed Erkan Teper over 12 rounds. Among his 13 losses is a wide 2020 points defeat to Tyson's cousin, Hughie Fury.

I read that Queensberry are the promoters for this. Then surely it will be on DAZN?

Is it Ring Mag or Goldstar who are funding it? or is Fury funding it?

Not much info online as it stands.

The guy I know who is possibly on it is with Goldstar. He was telling me about it at the Hull Box Cup at the weekend.

Fury vs Wach Tickets On Sale — VIP Seats Hit $450

Fury vs Wach tickets have gone on sale for up to £337 for one of only 1,500 places inside Max Muay Thai Stadium, despite the fight not being streamed live.

Tyson Fury faces Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, on July 24 in a 12-round heavyweight contest unlike anything else on his record.

Standard and VIP tickets went on sale on Monday, with the seating plan opening as fans were given their first chance to secure one of the limited places inside the venue.

Tickets are priced at 10,000 and 15,000 Thai baht, with the top VIP option costing around £337.

The stadium is the only place fans can watch Fury vs Wach live after the former heavyweight champion confirmed the fight will not be streamed.

Instead, Netflix will record the event for Season 3 of At Home with the Furys.

Fury vs Wach Tickets Go on Sale

Only 1,500 tickets are available for the event at Max Muay Thai Stadium, with fans told not to arrive before 9:45 pm local time.

Doors open at 10 pm before the first bout begins at 10:15 pm, with the action continuing into the early hours.

Profits from ticket sales will go to the Father Ray Foundation, while Fury will be presented with the inaugural WBC Humanitarian title on the night.

Wow they're not going to stream this? I don't remember the last time such a big star had a fight that wasn't televised in any form.

🚨 SHANE FURY REVEALS TYSON REJECTED A HUGE DAZN OFFER

Shane Fury has revealed that DAZN offered Tyson Fury a fight worth what would have been life- changing money for most fighters.

Instead, Tyson chose to fund his upcoming fight in Thailand himself, with 100% of the gate receipts being donated to a local children’s charity.

According to Shane, the decision came after Tyson visited a school for children with learning difficulties in Thailand, where he was inspired to use the event to give something back to the local community.

You can stream a fight with an iPhone and a decent internet connection... in this day and age it is soo easy, and so cheap to get a decent stream...

but I guess it's wach... so does anyone even care. This is arguably the worst fight I have ever seen for a top guy. (Mabey hrg vs de mori was worse, or a few michal hunter opponents, but actually, at 46 years old with a billion kms on the clock... this is worse)

Mabey no TV company want there name with it incase wach gets hurt? If so good job. If a fight can't be sanctioned in the UK they shouldn't just move it to Thailand (not saying they tried but surely this wouldn't be sanctioned)....

100% this is happening the way it's happening so that Fury can avoid a drug test. No other logical reason why he'd have taken this fight under these circumstances. Turning down bigger money for just as easy a fight? Why would he have done that?

Because he would've been tested that's why.

If he could've made more money from the other fight he could've given even more to charity couldn't he? So the excuse he needed it to be in Thailand for charitable reasons makes no sense.

Agreed ltd numbers make x amount to give to charity Tyson according to Shane is putting the whole show on and guving away the ticket minet BOLLOCKS agreed he could of fought a decent opponent at no cost give a quarter of his pay to chatity and him and them make money .. I would say its Netflix backed and payed for , whats morethe charity will have to get inline behind the farmer and the other charities waiting gor there payment .. Any case they can stream it free i would.nt get out of bed for it. Diunbt if i,ll even get up for Aj v Fury
