Wher is he?
I've got an imagine of him lay on his bed, drinking whiskey, sobbing, fliping through his Nigel scrap books with Simply Red's Holding back the Years playing on loop.

He could however just be at work.

A blatantly corrupt politician stands down because of his corruption, in order to avoid scrutiny of his corruption in hopes that he can gain a mandate to continue earning millions from corruption.

I think I agree with Rick. It's a gambit. He's calculating a a trick.

It's a great play, wether you want you admit that or not. He could've just tried to rumble along and let the scrutiny die out like it did with the whole "Farage sang a naughty song at school" scandal a few months back, but this way he either wins or loses at the ballot box. Let's see what the voters say.

Yeah, I agree. It's good strategy. The sleight of hand in moving his accountability to Parliamentary rules that are in place to try and ensure fair governance, to a constituency that has already voted for him... It is clever. It's corrupt, accountability avoiding and headline grabbing, but it is clever.

Do the inbread people of clacton have plenty of 'dough' themselves? I think this bold move will 'prove' that Farage's popularity is actually on the 'rise'. Britain kneads Reform.

Labour, libs and greens need to tell their supporters to vote for (hold your nose) the Tories. Anything to get rid of the pudendum once and for all.

Very white, poor, ageing population, like most places where Reform do well.

None of those parties will be standing. From what I’ve just read in the FT, they’re banking on Farage winning the by-election by default without opposition, but then getting done for corruption shortly afterwards where he’ll have to step down again and the parties will then fight it out properly. Farage in a sticky situation for sure, regardless of what his very intelligent supporters might think.

It's like the Trump cult they are so invested they cannot just step back and think maybe this guy isn't good for me and my country, people are embarrassed to be wrong.

Just a scripted farce. Makes Nige look like the guy taking on the establishment and puts pressure on the Labour clown to call a snap election.

All designed to keep you in the game.
