Ricky wrote: 09 Jul 2026, 04:27 The lefties on here are quick to tell us who they don't like. That much is obvious, the mere mention of names like Trump, Farage, Tommy Robinson or Elon Musk seems enough to burst a blood vessel, leaving the rest of us somewhat concerned about your ever-worsening mental health.

So in the interest of injecting a little healthy positivity around here, why don't you tell us who you are rooting for? Who is the left wing hero? Who is out there making the case for types of changes & policy you want to see shape the future?

Pick an option from the poll or comment if 'other'.
Gary Neville
Mind you I thought Gareth Southgate was a ridiculous choice for England manager and look how he did.

Well Gary Neville got all angry at Reform voters putting up flags, and did an extended campaign interview with Starmer to help get him elected - seemed as good a candidate as any.

There's something poetic about the new left wing hero being a bin.

Haven’t been following it. Is Binface a lib or just a joker (or a lib joker)?

He's an establishment plant put in place to put the anti-establishment working class reform party back in it's place.

Well Clement Atlee died in 1967, so if you were to pick a Prime Minister for the next 5 year , who would you go with? Nobody from the poll?
No, if you held a gun to my head i'd probably say Sturgeon, at least she's a politician and has actually ran a country before. You'd have too keep her hubby away from number 11 though, couldn't have him anywhere near the treasury

Seems like the left is in some pretty dire straits, if Nicola Sturgeon is the best option beyond digging up Clement Atlee.
That’s true, there’s been hardly any left-wing politicians in charge of the U.K. over the last 60 odd years. Guess the right-wing get to take the credit for the state of things :OhYes:

The UK hasn't had a right wing government in my lifetime, the centre-left ones we've had for 40 years, have filled the country with immigrants, went soft on crime (unless you post nasty tweets) and made half the populace gay or trans... or worse, straight but display pronouns.

When Reform win the next GE, we might see some of this ghastly mess get cleaned up, and hopefully a mass exodus of leftwing voters, like Roy & James that have promised to fvck off... what's not to like :yay:

Reform is over Ricky, do you not watch the news? Some of them might actually get locked up, probably not, Establishment figures usually dodge a bullet. I thought you'd be swinging from Lowe's ball sack by now, ain't Reform a bit too center right for you?

My absolute doppelganger, i actually quite liked Widdecombe, didn't agree on her politics but she was a character, terrible what happened to her.

Whilst that's a horrible thing to say, aren't the right all for free speech and mocking of the police for arresting people for "mean tweets'? Their vaginas were super itchy when that bird got locked up for talking about burning down hotels or what ever it was. I'm guessing this time the police are doing a good job?

I don’t agree with the thing getting locked up Roy I’m just highlighting the raving looney.

Did you see all the wankers out the other night, England flags everywhere. Bloody disgusting
