Probably one of those where he rocks him, piles in then the ref stops it, British type thing, imo.

Then we have to listen to Fish eye's bluster and hype for the next 10 mins.

You know dem ways dere

Moses will be too fast, dipping, coils up and then firing fast shots.

I really do not seeing this going past a couple of rounds.

Hrgovic is too upright, loose with defence and slow. Tough but that won't really help, this time.
I agree. I also think Hrgovic has annoyed him so I see a punishment performance coming

Hrgovic has talent, but clearly little discipline or fitness, he's going to get marmalised

How it works these days for most cards.. is they’ll just announce 3-4 undercard fights together.

And then prelims get added whenever as well.

Denys Berinchyk to face Sam Noakes on Itauma vs Hrgovic undercard

Berinchyk hasn't fought since losing his title to Keyshawn Davis; Noakes aims for his second straight win since his loss to Abdullah Mason

The bout between Denys Berinchyk and Sam Noakes is expected to feature on the undercard of Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic at The O2 in London on August 29.
  • Queensberry Promotions has yet to officially announce the matchup, although BS has reported that it is “likely” to be added to the event.
Former WBO lightweight champion Berinchyk (19-1, 9 KOs) of Ukraine hasn’t fought since last February, when he lost his title by fourth-round knockout to Keyshawn Davis. The 38-year-old became champion in his previous bout in mid-2024, defeating Emanuel Navarrete by split decision.

Noakes (18-1, 16 KOs) of the UK comes off a second-round stoppage victory over Benito Sanchez Garcia in May. With the win, the 28-year-old bounced back from a decision defeat to Abdullah Mason last November in his bid to claim the vacant WBO lightweight title.
  • Headlining the card on August 29 in London, Slovakian-born British heavyweight Moses Itauma (14-0, 12 KOs) faces Croatia’s Filip Hrgovic (20-1, 15 KOs).

Hrgovic has a good chin taking solid punches from big hitters like Zhang, who is a slow giant with fight ending power. He also got unloaded on by Adeleye, who was losing widely and isn't anything special, looked slightly wobbled but hung in there to take the decision. Other than that, he's been fed the softest opposition like Marc De Mori and Dave Allen.

Conversely, Moses has been quite dismissive of fighters with 'good chins' (in his build-up to the fight with Dempsey Mckean) saying that having a good chin means that you get hit a lot. He's openly said he's not interested in getting hit a lot himself, and I think his impressive control of distance, ability to jump in and out, and his natural speed and imaginative shot selection should see him being the first person to (EDIT: 2nd person  ) stop Hrgovic, albeit I don't see it being so early as 2-3 rounds. I reckon Hrgovic will extend him into the mid rounds.

I hope it's upgraded to a fight for a vacant world title, and the undercard fills out nicely, as I caved and bought some tickets for this and would like a good night.

They need to do better than this. Still plenty of seats available and can't see this moving the needle at all.

Any one thinking Moses might come down with an injury for this and then schedule something with the IBF title ? No announced bouts on the undercard yet and ticket sales aren't looking great.

Mike Perez to take on Aloys Junior on August 29 Itauma-Hrgovic undercard

Mike Perez will take on Aloys Junior in an intriguing cruiserweight clash on the London O2 undercard of Moses Itauma-Filip Hrgovic on August 29.

The Cuban veteran has long been on a journey to fulfil his undoubted potential but now, aged 40 and 32-3-1 (22 KOs), one wonders how much time the southpaw has left with which to do so.

In Junior - real name Aloys Youmbi - he meets a Londoner who is also on a mission. Still only 23 years old, he seemed on the road to nowhere when he lost his debut in 2021 but he's won 11 since, nine coming inside schedule. Most recently, the Commonwealth cruiserweight champion went 10 rounds with Ellis Zorro, winning a competitive fight unanimously on the cards.

Perez, meanwhile, has fought at a much higher level. Originally a heavyweight, where he would weigh up to 240lbs, he dropped down to cruiserweight after being stopped in a round by Alexander Povetkin in 2015. Two years later he was outpointed over 12 by Mairis Briedis in a bid for the WBC cruiserweight strap. He's unbeaten in 11 fights since but the streaking Junior can be viewed as an improvement on his recent opposition.

Other bouts on the Itauma-Hrgovic undercard confirmed by Queensberry include the already reported Sam Noakes-Denys Berinchyk clash at lightweight and a battle for the British and Commonwealth welterweight titles between champion Constantin Ursu and Ben Vaughan.

I think there wouldn't be much incentive for Sanchez to do that. Or rather, it would be one heck of a step aside payment. As a challenger to the title he could earn a lot less than as the IBF#1 against the #2. Plus then he has to deal with being a challenger on one of Frank's shows.

Really looking forward to this fight.

Hrgovic is a bad dude and seems genuinely up for this one.

Will tell us a lot more about Moses
