Big fight for Harlem. Win tonight and he could find himself being steered into a very lucrative latest installment of the Benn v Eubank saga

Conor will presumably come back from Las Vegas in a few weeks with his tail between his legs having been exposed at world level and going forward will have to set his sights at domestic level to make any big fights. Facing Harlem seems the obvious choice.

Someone would really have to sell the idea to me, that Romero vs Lopez is a can’t miss fight. Surely it’s just an ok fight.

The other Sean Noakes made a bad choice strolling into Hell’s Kitchen for a meal, years after his despicable crimes against four of Hell’s Kitchens own.

A 4 knockdown barnburner going into the championship rounds.

Papot had nothing left to throw at the end of that round. Eubank should try to get on him here.

Papot had Eubank down and hurt a few times, not sure it says a lot for his punch resistance as Papot only has 5 stoppages in 31 wins

I hope you’re all doing great. Just jumping on to post a couple of links, if that’s okay.

One is related to this thread, and it’s my new show on YouTube and I’ve been in camp with Harlem Eubank. Would love for you to check out the channel. There are also episodes up with Ryan Garner and Johnny Nelson…

The second link is where the vast majority of my writing is going now. I’m working on a new book but fully believe, with the way journalism is trending, Substack is the way forward. You can subscribe for free and get some of the work… or pay £6 a month and get all of it…. I’m taking this really seriously as a great opportunity and believe my future likes with the show above and Substack.

The substack link is here https://open.substack.com/pub/trisdixon

Appreciate any support and thanks for listening if you’ve made it this far!
A lot of good written content seems to be going this way but then it sets tiring keeping track of all your individual subscriptions and titles of each series etc.

That being said, keep doing the good work Tris. I preferred the longer form 'boxing life stories' but still followed everything else that pops up on Spotify in the shorter interviews. I probably listen to more of these interviews than I watch actual boxing matches now.

Good to see Papot not get shafted on the cards, he dropped Eubank with a big left in the 2nd and looked in control for a few rounds, Eubank again not busy enough and too much feinting and not enough throwing, he did come into things in the middle rounds and when a left had Papot down in the 7th I assumed he would take over but round 10 was bad one for Eubank, down twice, first a huge left caught him square on and he collapsed down, the second KD was scrappy but was legit, after that Eubank was fighting on heart and Papot seen it out fine

To be fair, Papot had the home crowd.

Good fight I didn’t expect it to be. The fights after the main event were decent too. Harlem had heart and when he had hand raised ready for the decision I thought the home decision was in but good to see the right person announced as the winner. Harlem is not world level but it was a good fight.
