That guy.....
He's come under fire for calling Ben Wallace, former Secretary of State for Defence and former Captain in the British Army, mentioned in Despatches for Gallantry during service in NI (he was also a member of the party tasked with bringing back Princess Diana's body), a 'Traitor to Britain'.
Now, I don't care much for Wallace's political affiliations, but to call the man a traitor to Britain is pretty disgraceful.

Serving in the forces doesn't get you a free pass from criticism, look at former Prince Andrew (who was hidden from the main action like Harry) , Wallace is dodgy
Former Defence Secretary Ben Wallace was linked to Westminster "sleaze" scrutiny in late 2021 when investigations revealed he claimed over £110,000 in taxpayer-funded rent for a London accommodation while simultaneously renting out another property...

£110,000? It's hardly £5mill is it?

Like I said, I don't care for his political affiliations. He used expenses to make himself some more money - which didn't break any rules, but wasn't exactly honourable.
That's a million miles away from being a traitor to Britain.
BTW, Farage boasted about claiming over £2million in expenses as an MEP, including claiming money for rent on a rent free property and claiming pay for someone to work that wasn't working on EU matters. He even had his own wages docked 50% after an EU investigation into his expenses.

Well, it is a problem because this time last year, he was a serious candidate to become the PM in 2029 but as Mercs said - that is a very long way away for Falange not to fornicate things up which he has done. This latest stunt of his has shown the people who would have voted for him that he just isn't a serious candidate to go any further than where he is now. He will probably win he seat again in Clacton but that is as far as he is going. What is he going to do the next time a journalist starts digging into his finances?Ricky wrote: ↑13 Aug 2026, 08:20You hang your hat on that.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑13 Aug 2026, 08:18 Polls saying if it was a 2 horse race across the whole of the uk, the bin would win
Re: Reform Thread
I don't think people care about him having some rich mates, and if they do, they're probably lefties anyway. The biggest challenge for Farage is that Burnham is more popular than Starmer, but if he doesn't stop the boats I still fancy Nigel to win the next GE. People are at their wits end with the invasion.Carlos Slim wrote: ↑13 Aug 2026, 11:39Well, it is a problem because this time last year, he was a serious candidate to become the PM in 2029 but as Mercs said - that is a very long way away for Falange not to fornicate things up which he has done. Having rich mates doesn't bother people, taking muti millions in bribes in return for attempting to change policy which will benefit the donor to the tune of billions bothers people, not just lefties either. As evidenced by his huge fall in the polls.Ricky wrote: ↑13 Aug 2026, 11:57I don't think people care about him having some rich mates, and if they do, they're probably lefties anyway.Carlos Slim wrote: ↑13 Aug 2026, 11:39Well, it is a problem because this time last year, he was a serious candidate to become the PM in 2029 but as Mercs said - that is a very long way away for Falange not to fornicate things up which he has done. It's not about rich mates. it's how he conducts his office. That he resigned and went for a re-election shows he is simply not fit for high office. There are levels to this as we found out with Boris Johnson - when he is PM and Sky News are up his hole about his finances, what will he do then?Ricky wrote: ↑13 Aug 2026, 11:57I don't think people care about him having some rich mates, and if they do, they're probably lefties anyway. Re: Reform Thread
It's like the UKIPS around 2014. Polling high, but failed miserable in 2015.
Even if an election was called tomorrow, Farrage is the least popular political leader in the UK. He'd won seats, for sure. Not enough for a government. It would be a Labour-led coalition.
Farage isn't in this for the long haul. He's made millions out of his grift, I'd expect him to disappear - maybe work behind the scenes in a Jenrick-run Reform party. He will not stand for the scrutiny that needs applying to potential leaders of the country.
Of course, it will be an establishment stitch-up. That well-known liberal, left wing establishment.
In reality, the donors will move back to the Tories and Farage's revenue will dry up. He's milked what he can, he's made a fortune. He's neither up for the top job nor is he competent enough.

He's the bookies favourite to go next of all the party leaders, wouldn't be suprised if he wins and then disappears soon, he must be shitting it over all the police and parliamentary investigations, he looks like a broken man now.

So the voters from the other parties voted for Binface as their own parties didn't put a candidate up.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑14 Aug 2026, 01:13 Nidge won with 22,000 votes, the same he got when all the main parties competed against him, Bin Face got 10,000.
