It is true, but if you have a signed contract saying A, you'd be reluctant to go with B.
Are they eve open to renegotiations? Hearn first said they would revisit contracts but may ask for more mone, and now they are firm no.
In their defence, what's the point in signing a contract, If the people who presented you with it are not going to honour it. I always thought Turki was a man of his word. Although, from what I've heard, it's Netflix who desperately want the fight in the US.

Wasn't the two fight deal they agreed a few years ago meant to take place in the Middle East?

I suspect nobody on here would be too upset if the fight fell through. I’m definitely in that camp and one major silver lining if that does happen would be the damage it does to the particularly dislikeable Dana White.

It seems as though he’s been a big driver in trying to stage the fight in USA and if Turki’s dream fight were to fall through largely it seems because AJ doesn’t want to fight in NYC then Dana will presumably be viewed as the chief culprit in Turki’s eyes.

Netflix are running ads for it with no date or venue on them.

I'm in that boat.

Don't get me wrong, I shall watch it in some capacity if they do fight, but I absolutely will not rung up a PPV in order to see it and it's got to the point whereby if they don't ever fight, I wouldn't be bothered.

The optimum time for these two to have locked horns has long since passed, so if they don't ever fight, it will be no great loss.

Not bothered about this fight really. I think AJ knocks Fury out for what it's worth, but not bothered if I get to see it or not.

Signed, according to The Mail. The landlord didn't put up much of a struggle for his UK fans, did he? Just a tactic to get every last penny from the fans.

For what? The fights going ahead. As you say, the buck stops with the fighters. Femi is going through with it because of money. They’ve used the UK angle to get even more.

Do you think Fury will be taking PEDs for this one?

No, New York are very strict. A lot of people thought Femi not been able to get TUE"s there was the reason for his quit against Ruiz.

Loads. It was a common theory at the time. Obviously, in time it’s been proved it was probably just because he’s chinny.

Selective amnesia when it comes to anything I say about Femi. One of the broadsheets ran a big write up on it in the build up.

its disgusting
We have all been fucked over by Fury. AJ. Hearn. Warren and Turki.
The fight must happen in UK and all that crap that theyve spouted for many months. We should all boycott the event, Neither of them are in the top 5 heavies in UK at present let alone the world.
They could have had 100K watching it live in a huge stadium in Uk but have sold their ar5es to a 20K indoor stadium in america with american timings etc etc. Its absolutely disgusting.
I hope there is a clash of heads in round 1 and its a technical draw.

The main uproar is that they're holding the launch presser at an "iconic British venue".

To be fair, I think Hearn and Warren are pretty powerless in all this. Their fault lies in they should have done it years ago.
