Can’t think of a fight I’ve looked forward to as much as this one for ages.

I saw that his face looked slimmer in the pre fight stuff but didn't realise he'd be this light.
Maybe he'll be a little busier from the off. Although he started fast against Dubois, if I remember.
Re: Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 29 August 2026
Nice to see Hrgovic in good shape, looks like he’s going to be busy in there against Itauma.
Hrg did start off very busy in the Dubois fight, that right hand had a dangerous look to it although to be fair Dubois was never in trouble or discouraged.
Moses must fancy he’s the puncher in this fight. No way he looks at the likes of Joyce and Adeleye and sees anything other than a stoppage win.

That’s not scripted by the way, there’s no way they want him pushed off the stage like that, he could’ve twisted his ankle. Daft.
Moses seems a little wound up.

Nooo, Foster? Christ sakes. Why not use a neutral ref. It's a world title fight
Re: Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 29 August 2026
Well that's that then. Put the house on Itauma, by hook or by crook.forcefraser wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 13:07JamesPhilips wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 11:46A Class referee Howard Foster I think (unfortunately)MightyWarrior wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 10:32 They just weighed in: Moses Itauma 241.7 pounds, Filip Hrgovic 236.2

Can't believe Foster would be getting the job after Dubois v Lerena
If team Hrgovic have any sense they will try to block that appointment. It will be a stitch up

Ben Davison just laughing through it whilst the rest of the team try getting involved

Re: Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 29 August 2026
Yeah I can almost visualise the fight being stopped early with Howard Foster dramatically leaping in and aggressive grabbing Hrgovic and shaking his head like he’s done him a favour, after Itauma lands a few punches, andpaultom wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 13:48First time Hgovic is hurt on the ropes Foster will dive inforcefraser wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 13:07

Sad but true. Itauma will need to be knocked unconscious before this ref will consider saving him.paultom wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 13:48First time Hgovic is hurt on the ropes Foster will dive inforcefraser wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 13:07

Howard Foster? I think we all know what that signals.
Best have a glass of milk prepared for after the fight to wash away that bitter taste.

In the ref's instructions just before the fight Hrgovic should say "Don't stop this early, nobody stops me."
Foster ffs. The scourge of a sport I love increasingly les.

Don’t think they’ve named the ref yet have they?

yeh, it's foster

It's probably worth a little flutter but I'm feeling like if there is trouble for Itauma he will get a nice home advantage from the ref. If Hrg is bleeding and Itauma isn't doing well....forcefraser wrote: ↑28 Aug 2026, 08:07 The odds for a Hrgovic win are tempting. So many questions with this one
1/7 for Itamu seems crazy.
