Found California Heavyweight Champ Andy Walker's Height!

Post by BrocktonBlockbuster49 »

Reno Evening Gazette
Thursday, August 13, 1953

"They are anxious to see Walker, the raw-boned, six-foot two inch San Francisco Negro, who battled lex Layne to a draw, tangled with joe Louis, whipped Grant Butcher, frank Buford and many others in six-year pro career. And they want to see the promsing young Patagoniari giant, Romero, face his first experienced and well-known opponent after going unbeaten in 22 previous bouts. Some fans who have seen Walker, particularly in his 1951 draw with Rex Layne, think the 210- pounder has too much craft and slugging power for the burly South American."

Boxrec, Editors hopefully you can edit his height into boxrec. thanx!

>>>I am around boxing long before this site existed<<<

Really? When did this site start?

>>>i am getting ready to travel to south america soon, there will be 5 of us or more goin<<<

Going to South America...to search for the missing Marciano bout?

AHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Being that you probably don't know what caps mean...it's laughing...really...really loud on computer!

BB--I sure as hell hope that you are not buying into this completely laughable loony tune madness!

If it entails a free trip to South America sign me up to your club...but while you clowns are at a library, or pumping the locals looking for evidence that does not exist...I'll be pumping some hot South American honey's…LOL!

barry,

I say we should sign up to his club and go on the free trip. well just pretend to be going there to discover a new marciano bout, and when we get off the plane......well then tell rockyproject were going to the "library" to do research but we will actually go to the clubs, get drunk, and bang some south american bitches. then well come back at night and tell rockyproject we found nothing. :P
