Here's a strange one..... Justin Barnes

Okay scanning through the European schedule, I came across a name that sounded British fighting in Holland....... Justin Barnes.

Yep, he was born in Liverpool, undefeated in a fletching pro career keeping busy - scheduled to have fight number 3 of a 6 month pro career later this month and fight 4 in November.

Boxrec are considering him as from the Netherlands and he has a Netherlands coach/manager - just wandering if anyone can remember him as an amateur. Obviously, Boxing in the Netherlands isn't strong - but it would appear his manager has a fair bit of faith.

Anyone know anything about him?

Barnes lost on points on Friday to Mika Joensuu. Both were 6-0 entering the fight.

I remember him being mentioned in Boxing News a while back, think he had a fight postponed as he was getting married or something?! Might be wrong there. He was a decent amateur if i recall as well, but could also be wrong there too
