one of the strangest episodes in any Television series.
BTW if you notice Primo Carnera was not even given a credit in it,
that's because by the time that show was aired Primo Carnera was being "Black-Balled"
by Hollywood because he had the audicity to sue the producers of THE HARDER THEY FALL
for $ 1,500,000 dollars also possibly sueing the author of the book Budd Schulberg

That was a good movie. It was loosely based on Carnera. Walcott and Baer both had parts in it.

apparently he played the same character in another episode of the show as well
a hulking 6'6 with a perfect look and deep booming voice to play henchman style characters, he would have been good as a bond villain

As a matter of fact back in 1966 when Richard Malbaum was writing the screenplay for OHMSS,
Primo Carnera had been first in mind for the role Blofeld's henchmen "Che Che "
Primo Carnera would have been 60 years old in 1966, but he was too ill at the time for the role.
(instead they got some other dude to play Che Che in the Hotel room fight)

Well Primo Carnera never got a job in Hollywood again after that.
For his last film/TV role he had to go to Italy in 1959 (age 53 years)

i like primo, he was no great but he could actually fight, he wasnt as nearly as bad as often made out to be. he was crude and slow and hittable, but developed a good jab over his career, was known to outlast opponents in long fights, and could punch. that he just walked into boxing as a 22 year old beginner and did as well as he did (even accounting for the shenanigans) is a testament to what a physical freak he was
even as an alcoholic in his 50s and 60s he was still built like an adonis

Primo Carnera as "Slygon" at begining at 1:08 of the film
(unfortanetly they had to dub his unmistakable booming voice because of his ""thick Italian accent'
-1954-
