Tyson Fury went OFF on Anthony Joshua for not accepting the offer to fight him 😳

"Joshua, where are you? Still no deal done, it's geting quite tiring.

I've said yes every single time, zero stipulations. I feel like you're being a coward. I feel like you don't want the fight and you're just conning everybody. I feel like you've been doing that for years.

You've had many opportunities to fight me, but deep down you never really wanted it."

Are any Americans keen on this? Two Brit’s past prime and no belts. And no real implication.

HEARN SAYS WEMBLEY BACK IN THE RUNNING TO STAGE JOSHUA-FURY

Wembley is back in the running to stage Tyson Fury against Anthony Joshua, according to promoter Eddie Hearn.

The biggest fight in British boxing history had seemed to be on the brink of collapse due to a disagreement on the host country. Hearn insisted that Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) had signed a contract which categorically stated that the fight could not take place outside the UK, while Fury’s did not specify a country. Madison Square Garden in New York had emerged as a frontrunner for the fight ,but Hearn was adamant that Joshua would require an updated contract to make that happen.

But, with no progress on the situation for weeks, many British fight fans were fearing that the showdown more than a decade in the making might fall through.

Hearn has taken to social media to declare that talks have reopened about a potential showdown at Wembley.

“I want to thank everyone for the unbelievable support!,” Hearn wrote on Instagram. “You have been heard and talks have now reopened for Wembley. “Let’s make history with one of the biggest sporting moments Britain has ever seen.”

Meanwhile, during an interview with Boxing News, London mayor Sadiq Khan, whose brother Sid runs Earlsfield Boxing Club in west London, insisted that the fight between British boxing’s two biggest stars must happen on UK soil.

He said: “It has got to be.

“Both AJ and Tyson Fury recognize that their most loyal fans are in this country, many across the UK. London is so easy to get to, Wembley is so easy to get to and we could get 100,000 fans there very safely.

“I know both AJ and Tyson Fury would love it to be in front of their fans but the promoters have got to recognize that not only would there be 100,000 fans there live, but millions would watch across the globe. We want to make it happen. Work with us. Let’s make it happen.” Fury and Joshua appeared to be on a clear collision course after both came through warmup fights, though that was almost derailed last month. Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) forced Mariusz Wach into a seventh round retirement in their Thailand clash on July 24 before Joshua picked himself off the floor twice to stop Kristian Prenga in the second round in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 24 hours later. The pair, which has only crossed paths during a short sparring session at Finchley Amateur Boxing Club in 2010, is two-time world heavyweight champions with two defeats each to Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua: Mayor of London Sadiq Khan pleads with promoters to host fight in UK

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has pleaded with the promoters of the potential fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to host the event in the United Kingdom.

Fury and Joshua both signed an agreement with Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh earlier this year to fight each other. While they both came through final tune-up bouts in July, negotiations have been at a near stand-still in recent weeks due to a conflict about the location of the bout.

Fury has said he is prepared to fight anywhere, while Joshua's contract explicitly states it must take place in the UK.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn last month sent an addendum to Saudi promotion company Sela with fresh requests in exchange for agreeing to fight in the United States, where Sela and broadcaster Netflix would prefer the event to take place.

Hearn has insisted they are still battling for the fight to be in the UK and now Mayor Khan has said he wants to see the event in Britain.

"I'm a big boxing fan, as you know," Khan told Sky Sports. "We've hosted some of the biggest boxing events in history in London during my mayoralty. Many British fans are fans of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Many Londoners love both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

"Both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua recognise the importance of British boxing fans. The promoters know we're here to help. We've approached those in the know to say we're here to help.

"Eddie Hearn has approached us and we're keen to work with Eddie and the team. I understand the temptation of going to Madison Square Garden, of the money on offer, but the fans are here.

"We've been loyal to Tyson and Anthony. We love them both and we'd love to see them box here in London."

Hearn said this week negotiations are ongoing, but time is "running out" if the fight is to take place in November.

Fury said on Thursday he was prepared to move on from the fight if a deal wasn't done soon.

"There's nothing I can do. I can't make a coward fight, can I?" Fury said on social media.

"I've been waiting 10 years for this and been ready every time. One thing I won't be doing is wasting my later years with a freak who doesn't want to fight. So I will move on. There's plenty of world champions out there who do want to fight, who do want to make some money, so I'll be giving them a knock.

"Agit Kabayel, [Filip] Hrgovic, Daniel Dubois. Whoever else there is. They can fight me in November because this is going nowhere."

Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury Wembley fight talks back on - Eddie Hearn

Negotiations to stage a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium in London have reopened, promoter Eddie Hearn has said.

Both fighters had signed a contract with Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh agreeing to fight each other.

However, negotiations had stalled in recent weeks due to a dispute about the location of the fight. Joshua's contract explicitly stated that the fight had to take place in the UK.

However, Saudi promotion company Sela and Netflix had indicated to Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn they preferred to take place in the United States to maximise the global broadcast audience.

It had appeared that Madison Square Garden in New York would host the fight in November. But, on Friday, Hearn said talks were again underway to have the event at Wembley.

"I want to thank everyone for the unbelievable support!" Hearn wrote in a post on social media.

"You have been heard and talks have now re-opened for Wembley.

"Let's make history with one of the biggest sporting moments [Britain] has ever seen."

Fury had indicated he was prepared to fight anywhere.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said this week Hearn had approached him for help in bringing the fight to the English capital.

"Both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua recognise the importance of British boxing fans," Khan said. "The promoters know we're here to help.

ESPN has contacted Queensberry promotions, who represent Fury, for comment.

I suspect that Dan is partially wrong on this occasion. The contracts haven’t been made public, which means that outsiders, like Rafael, cannot refute with 100% certainty Tyson’s claims.

If Tyson is contracted to fight Joshua under particular conditions and the organisers/Joshua cannot satisfy those conditions by the contractual deadline, then Fury may eventually become free to fight somebody else.

And as we’ve seen in the lawsuit between Mayweather Jr. and CSI (CSI did not do its part to arrange the Tyson fight, but attempted to prevent Floyd from facing Zambidis instead), Rafael cannot claim with any high-degree of certainty that Fury isn't free to participate in an interim bout merely by saying “he signed a contract.”

How enforceable is Tyson's signed contract if the organisers cannot deliver the Fury–Joshua bout on the agreed terms within the agreed timeframe?

Unless there’s anything in the contracts that states it has to be officially announced by a certain date. Date and venue etc.

Ofc we don’t know.

Dan is obviously a frustrated fan as well.

Tyson Fury is not his own promoter, therefore? All of those videos, and announcements he is making 'are just Tyson Fury showing his apprehensiveness, of fighting Anthony Joshua'.

Note: Tyson Fury is shook 'he has never wanted to fight Anthony Joshua, but now his back is up against the wall. If the fight does not happen, the major factor in that will be Tyson Fury'.

No one believes Tyson Fury 'not even his hardcore fans. When you see them attempting to blame Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua for the recent difficulties in fight negotiations, that is just his fans trying their best to protect Fury from himself'.

Tyson Fury as a champion, has made all of his major fights 'extremely difficult to make, or he has completely sabotaged them. Wilder I, and III, Uysk I & II, and he even tactically avoided David Price when that would have been his biggest fight of his career at the time'.

The only fight which was rather straight forward to make 'was his first fight against Wladimir Kiltschko. But? Then he disappeared for the rematch, unfortunately due to his then circumstance'.

Tyson Fury is a great fighter 'he has been one of the three heavyweight mountains of this era, but people in the game have to be honest and criticise his conduct and behaviour as a competitor at times' etc.

ANTHONY JOSHUA 'TICKING OVER' WITH BEN DAVISON, AWAITS TYSON FURY NEWS

Anthony Joshua is back training in Ben Davison's Essex gym as he awaits an end to the Tyson Fury contract saga.

The 36-year-old officially parted ways with Davison following his crushing Wembley Stadium defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.

Joshua has since been training in Spain alongside Oleksandr Usyk and his team for the victories over Jake Paul and Kristian Prenga over the past nine months.

He is now hoping to finally secure a fight against Fury with a date in November earmarked for them to clash. However, there has been a tortuous hold-up due to a discrepancy in their fight contracts.

Joshua’s deal stipulates that the fight must take place in the UK while Fury’s has no such clause. As such, a proposed showdown in Madison Square Garden, New York, earmarked for November 20, could not be finalized.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has since sent an addendum to that initial contract but Fury has publicly declared that he is now seeking a different opponent as he believes the fight is off.

Meanwhile, Joshua is still keeping himself in fighting shape and has linked back up with Davison to do so.

The pair have remained on good terms since officially going their separate ways and kept in touch over the past two years. A source told The Ring that Joshua wanted to keep ticking over in familiar surroundings so asked Davison for his help.

A picture posted by Frazer Clarke on Monday, of him alongside Joshua and another Davison heavyweight, Jeamie TKV, confirmed the short term switch, although it is understood that there are currently no plans to move back full time once his next fight is announced.

Fans wonder why Fury would do something so obvious to destabilise things when the fight seems to be moving forward for the UK
I don't see how Fury appearing with Dana White proves he was deliberately trying to destabilise the Joshua fight.

Queensbury Promotions has a direct contractual relationship with TKO (the company that established a joint-venture with Turki Alalshikh’s Sela to co-parent Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing).

Tyson Fury, TKO and Sela all have contractual deals with Netflix.

Netflix owned the rights to Tyson Fury’s bouts against Makhmudov and Wach.

Zuffa Boxing was involved in the Fury-Makhmudov event broadcast by Netflix.

Eddie Hearn has explicitly said he is prepared to work with TKO/Zuffa when it makes commercial sense.

In August, Hearn said TKO had approached him about becoming involved in the AJ-Fury event. Rather than rejecting the possibility outright, he said he would consider it if TKO could demonstrate benefits for Joshua, Matchroom and Matchroom's fighters — even floating a Matchroom vs Zuffa 5-v-5 undercard.

Joshua also has history with White. Dana tried to do business with him as far back as 2018, when Joshua publicly said he was “100 percent” willing to listen if the deal made sense.

Therefore, Fury appearing with Dana White can’t be used as evidence to justify accusations of Tyson deliberately trying to sabotage the Joshua negotiations.

Fighters aren't automatically prohibited from having their own commercial relationships simply because their promoters have fallen out with the people involved.

If you honestly believe Tyson Fury 'has not tactically sabotaged this fight. Then I believe you have a narrative which you want to believe, and you don't want to look at the facts'.

Note: You are clearly not rehearsed in Tyson Fury's character 'this is what he does. He has done it his entire career, when he is apprehensive of an opponent'.

The very moment he decided to move away from Queensbury boxing 'and align more closely with the boys who want this fight in America, this was the catalytic move which began the sabotaging of this fight' etc.

What is your definition of the word "fact"?

Is it intentionally offensive, shocking, or absurdly false content specifically to provoke people to become angry or frustrated, so that they feel compelled to comment on a fabricated lie conveyed by rage-baiters and trolls?

Oleksandr Usyk's camp say he's not Tyson Fury's 'back-up plan'

Tyson Fury's claim that he has turned his attention to a third fight with Oleksandr Usyk has been called rubbish by the Ukrainian's managers.

Negotiations are still ongoing for a heavyweight clash between Fury and Anthony Joshua in November, but Fury insists his fellow Briton is seeking ways to back out of the deal.

Fury has issued a series of messages on social media to Usyk, who beat him in May and December 2024, proposing the unbeaten 39-year-old steps in to turn their rivalry into a trilogy.

But in a statement to Sky Sports News, Usyk's manager, Sergey Lapin, said: "Usyk is not Tyson's back-up plan.

"If Fury needs an opponent, he should visit the Ready to Fight platform. They can help him find a worthy opponent there.

"Oleksandr is always open to big challenges. But serious intentions are backed by a concrete offer, not statements in the press."

Usyk vacated his three heavyweight belts in June shortly after beating former kickboxer Rico Verhoeven in Cairo. But he has made no indication of retirement.

Fury insisted Sunday that he had given up on facing Joshua, who "would never fight the Gypsy King," and announced that he was looking for a new opponent.

Fury and Joshua have already signed individual contracts for the fight but negotiations have stalled over the venue, with Joshua reportedly insisting it takes place in London, while other options including New York's Madison Square Garden are also being considered.

What is your definition of the word "fact"?

Is it intentionally offensive, shocking, or absurdly false content specifically to provoke people to become angry or frustrated, so that they feel compelled to comment on a fabricated lie conveyed by rage-baiters and trolls?
The facts are there in plain day light 'when it is concerning Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua'.

Note: If you want to ignore them, and promote your own narrative 'go ahead. It is just boxing talk at the end of the day'.

I have told many people before 'if this fight does not happen, it will be because of Tyson Fury. I stated this from the very start of the negotiations, that people should not be surprised if the fight does not happen'.

Let's all think back again? Tyson Fury on the eve of fighting Oleksandr Uysk II in the rematch 'stated win or lose, he will fight Anthony Joshua'.

But what then happened after his rematch with Oleksandr Uysk? Tyson Fury tactically retired to avoid that fight 'and I specifically and accurately stated this right before he fought Uysk II. That Fury would potentially retire to avoid the Joshua fight'.

It is 2026, and Tyson Fury is still terrified of Anthony Joshua etc.

That isn't a fact, it's an opinion, just sayin'. :D
