He had suffered two previous knockdowns from headshots, and once he could no longer handle Bevan going to the body, it was clearly over.
Yeah but in that moment, the ref is always going to give the guy a chance to shake off a body shot.

If Dave doesn't hurt him, he'll lose.

Tbh I think the only reason he let him go after the last two knockdowns was the huge roar from the home crowd. Without it, I'm confident he'd have waved him arms.

IMO Dave hasn't trained properly, he's fatter, slower and isn't motivated for this opponent.

Although TBF, Carty's only loss was against a guy weighing over 400lbs.

Looks a right mess, he seems to think it's funny though.

Obviously everyone involved in the broadcast is contractually obliged to eulogise Katie Taylor.

It's nauseating.

The low point being "one true great follows another" referring to Ali fighting at Croke Park.

Enough already

Katie's the best female boxer ever and she'll filling 80k tonight. Plus, Ali was only 12.5% Irish. :-P

Unfortunately this card isn't important enough for DAZN Germany to put their three guys in a room and commentate over the feed, so now I'm stuck listening to Adam Smith's insufferable bullshit all night.

Always welcome.

The quote is from 'The Royle family.'

My Mum got pissed off as when I was about 15-16 I was watching it with my Mum and Dad (I know, a right cool cat at 15 was I) and when that quote came up I fell over laughing.

I’ll certainly have it on, but is this French lady bringing much to the argument tonight? I’ve not exactly been scouring YouTube for footage but surely she’s not about to upset the apple cart.

I can get well up for the right women’s boxing match but I’m pessimistic for this one.

Come on Keith convince me.

Katy Taylor shows the importance of a narrative and a fan base.

She is an arm puncher with zero power, and honestly i have her losing twice to a part time cop fighting out of her weight (persoon), loosing to cameron, loosing to serano 3 times (also fightig way out of her weight,)...

She has done incredible things for women's boxing, but I don't see her as an incredible women's boxer.

I haven't watched a single second of footage of her opponent, but Katie's 40 and she fights once per year. That should make it closer than it should be. Cue a first round Taylor knockout.
