🚨 FRANK~WARREN: “I DIDN’T WANT HRGOVIC FOR ITAUMA”

Frank~Warren has revealed Moses Itauma’s team pushed for the Filip Hrgovic fight despite Warren wanting a different opponent.

“They said Hrgovic was the opponent they wanted and that he’s perfect in every way.”

Warren added that he will sit down with Itauma’s team in the coming weeks to discuss what went wrong and what changes need to be made moving forward.

Eolaithe wrote: 04 Apr 2026, 13:19 I asked ChatGPT to predict the outcome of this fight… and it’s prediction was pretty impressive:

Since May 2019, Wilder’s form has been poor: four losses, three brutal knockouts, and only two wins against limited opposition.

Chisora hasn’t been flawless either — losses to Usyk, Fury, and Parker — but he’s consistently mixed with elite company and pushed two of them harder than expected.

Chisora’s résumé in that same timeframe is more impressive: wins over Wallin, Joyce, Pulev, Washington, Price, Szpilka, and Gashi.

Yes, some were tight calls, but the activity and competitiveness speak for themselves. On form alone, he’s been the steadier fighter.

But form isn’t the whole story. Chisora is 42, competing at his career-heaviest weight, and has absorbed a lot of punishment.

Fighters with that mileage can seemingly age “overnight” — meaning that tonight, we may witness a version of ‘Del Boy’ with slower feet, slower reactions, and a susceptible chin that is incapable of withstanding Wilder’s heavy blows.

Wilder’s path is narrower but real. If he approaches the fight with the discipline he showed in the first Stiverne bout — long jab, controlled distance, smart movement, and selective right hands — he can keep Chisora at the end of his reach and avoid the kind of exchanges that drain him.

I still lean toward Chisora’s pressure and persistence to win this fight, but if Wilder stays disciplined and refuses to brawl, the American has a legitimate route to victory.

I ran the following query through ChatGPT

Hi. Does Eolaithe, a poster on boxrec.com use AI to write his posts?
Hi. I looked into this, and there is actually an ongoing AI-writing debate about Eolaithe on BoxRec right now.

What I can establish:

* Eolaithe has been a BoxRec member since February 2019, and he has posted substantial material there for years.
* Other posters recently accused him of using AI because some of his newer posts have unusually polished grammar, punctuation, structure, and use of diacritics in fighters’ names.
* Eolaithe himself has acknowledged using ChatGPT. In an April 2026 post, he explicitly wrote, “I asked ChatGPT to predict the outcome of this fight…” and then reproduced its prediction.
* However, that’s not proof that he uses AI to write his BoxRec posts generally. In the current argument, he specifically denies relying on LLMs to rewrite his words and points to his older posts as evidence that his writing style has long been relatively polished.

So my answer would be: he definitely uses/has used ChatGPT, but I don’t think there’s enough evidence to say that Eolaithe’s posts are AI-written. There is evidence of ChatGPT being used for at least one piece of boxing analysis, but that’s different from having ChatGPT generate his forum posts.

If you’d like, I can  compare a selection of Eolaithe’s posts from 2019–2021 with his 2025–2026 posts and analyse them specifically for signs of AI assistance. That would give us a much better basis for an answer.
I also ran the suggested query at the end but I got so much text it’s not worth quoting. TBH it was incredible how quickly ChatGPT formulated a detailed answer, even if I don’t agree wholeheartedly with the verdict.

Frank can’t admit he’s ever wrong, so he’s pointedly blaming Davidson for wanting this fight, although he could’ve easily overruled him ,so fair to say he f*cked up here as well.

I think he’d love to sack Ben now, but he seems to have gifted his HW golden goose to Francis Jr
as manager, and his boy seems to be still taken with Ben, so Moses might be stuck with Davidson unless Frank overrules Jr…

But then you’ve got Fabio who is defending Ben Davidson to the hilt in the press, I think Fabio’s got something like Stockholm syndrom.

Fwank is likely a narcissistic psychopath. These people NEVER admit culpability nor do they ever apologise. As for Fabio it’s predictable he will support his own trainer, but Davison seems to be some kind of magician, with an other worldly ability to manipulate minds….

I’m not looking for hindsight comparisons. Please provide a detailed, sentence-by-sentence critique of the views you found bizarre (in the context of the date the post was written).

As a more knowledgeable boxing expert than an intellectually subnormal person like me, please share your wisdom, by proving the accuracy of your Wilder–Chisora prediction.
Instead of watching what's going on in the ring and drawing conclusions from that, you always seem to focus on resumes, rankings, titles, age, activity and so on.
I said Itauma looked spent in round 3 against Hrgovic and got laughed at. Afterwards I pointed out exactly what was going wrong for him once Hrgovic started taking away his distance and pace.
Against Torrez I said Sanchez wasn't moving much because he was looking to time him. One minute later he timed him and knocked him out.
I said Usyk looked shot in round 1 against Rico because his legs were gone and he couldn't create angles. Got laughed at for that one too. Then he gave up the belts and now apparently just wants one farewell fight.
Doesn't mean I don't predict fights horribly wrong sometimes. But reading a fight while it's happening is something ChatGPT and Gareth A Davies are not capable of.
So in simple terms, you can't explain the reason for your criticism of the content of my prediction of the Wilder-Chisora fight, which clearly contained a lot of pugilistic critique.

It's clear you didn't even read my Wilder-Chisora prediction, and you didn’t even bother to make your own prediction. What's your excuse?

And you refuse to acknowledge the content of my prediction of the Itauma-Hrgović fight, when I said the following?
Eolaithe wrote: 27 Aug 2026, 20:22 That said, there are still questions about Itauma.

He has limited amateur experience, has boxed only 31 professional rounds, and has so far faced has-beens or journeymen, with the media justifying the hype with sparring stories.

And despite his dominant victory over Jermaine Franklin Jr. being superficially-impressive, no one can deny the American being gun-shy and weighing 24lbs heavier than he was for the Anthony Joshua fight.

I also noticed that Itauma was breathing heavily as he walked back to his corner after the fourth round; and in the second half of the same round, his mouth was open while he was pressuring Franklin.

This raised one rather interesting question: is Itauma simply a natural mouth-breather who quickly switches from nasal breathing after only minor physical effort, or is he a front-runner with a shallow gas tank who may fade badly in the second half of a fight?
The entirety of my post-fight review of the Itauma-Hrgović bout was clearly a stylistic breakdown of the action that occurred inside the ring.

Do you have low literacy skills?

You seem to do a lot of criticising, but flatly-refuse to directly challenge any of my actual words.

You're proving my point again. In that whole Itauma-Hrgovic post the only actual in-ring observation is that Itauma had his mouth open.

And why do you keep calling the Wilder-Chisora post your prediction now? You literally said at the time that you asked ChatGPT to predict it and pasted the answer because you were impressed.

So serious question: do you just use AI to help with posts, or has it fully taken over now? Because if you're claiming ChatGPT's prediction as your own, I'm genuinely not sure who I'm talking to.

The observation in my prediction was that Itauma may be a front-runner with a shallow gas tank who may fade badly in the second half of a fight. If you'd read what I'd written, then you'd know already this.

You then incorrectly claimed that "instead of watching what's going on in the ring and drawing conclusions from that", I "always seem to focus on resumes, rankings, titles, age, activity and so on".

But my lengthy highly-detailed post-fight breakdown of the Itauma-Hrgović bout solely focussed on the action that took place inside the ring.

Simply put, you criticise without making any effort whatsoever to qualify the justification for your opinion.

You quoted the Wilder-Chisora post and claimed it was evidence of my lack of understanding of the sport. I understand boxing and was impressed by the quality of the post.

I asked you to explain your criticism of this post by undermining each and every sentence that was written, but you couldn't do it. If that doesn't impress you, then what will?

I didn't mention the Wilder-Chisora fight until you brought it up.

The only real in-ring observation was Itauma having his mouth open against Franklin. The rest was resume, rounds, opposition, weight, hype...

And that "highly-detailed post-fight breakdown" is the same thing. A massive wall of text and not even one specific punch mentioned. No jab, hook, right hand, counter, nothing. Just "big punches", pressure, fatigue, experience and the story of the bully becoming the bullied.

Basically Gareth AI Davies creating a narrative.

No, I didn't. I brought it up because you literally told everyone ChatGPT wrote it. That was the evidence for the AI suspicion. My comments about your boxing understanding were not about this post.

Which makes it pretty funny that you now keep calling the ChatGPT post you Wilder-Chisora prediction and want me to critique it as if you wrote it.

So I'll ask again: are you using AI to help write your current posts, or are you actually claiming them as your own now? Because I'm genuinely not sure who I'm replying to anymore.

My Itauma–Hrgović prediction contained a simple observation: Itauma might be a front‑runner with a shallow gas tank who fades badly in the second half of a fight.

My long, detailed breakdown of the Itauma–Hrgović fight focused entirely on what happened in the ring.

You didn’t read my Itauma–Hrgović prediction or my post-fight breakdown, and claiming I never said certain things that are plainly written for everyone to see only hurts your credibility.

You also asked whether I’ve ever used AI, even though you quoted the exact post where I openly said ChatGPT wrote those words.

Using AI to write one post in 2026 doesn’t mean I rely on it. I’ve been posting detailed, fact‑based, well‑written comments on BoxRec since February 2019. One AI‑assisted post doesn’t erase years of consistent writing.

There’s been no noticeable change in how I express my views on the forum over the last seven years.

Eolaithe while I’m sure some may have found your Moses v Hrg breakdown (AI or otherwise) to be interesting enough, there are a lot of folks on this forum who can read a fight pretty well and would likely skip straight past a long post like that, I know I did.

When the dust settled after the Moses defeat there really wasn’t a great deal to be mystified about. The answers, to the questions that were held almost universally beforehand by boxing fans, were provided conclusively.

Totally up to you of course, but personally
I’d be shortening things up a bit.
