It’s probably true that Trump lives rent free in the heads of hundreds of millions of people around the world - from the MAGA cult members to people who can’t stand him, and everybody in between. I think that makes Trumpy very happy.

I ain't anti money. I'm not anti wealth. Free time is paramount. And a billionaire can get prime you know what. I understand those benefits and private yards and stuff like that but only an asshole wants to be famous. Just my opinion.
I tend with agree with the idea that the "Average Joe" cares more about the economy that foreign affairs. Though sometimes they are intertwined. The Iranian War has caused worse inflation.
It's also not just how well the Economy is actually doing. It's what people think it's doing. In 1984, the economy was awful. Unemployment was well over 7%; about the same as when Reagan took office and way higher than it has been for several years. Inflation Rate was higher than it is now.
However, Reagan sold it as the economy doing great. (He seemed much more authentic in his lies than Trump does.) And people believed it. And he won 49 out of 50 states when he ran for reelection in 1984.
When Biden was President, we had record low unemployment. But the Democrats didn't sell that very well and eggs prices were high and they did a bad job of explaining why.
With the economy, you can usually find something bad or something good. Selling the good or the bad is an art form.
If independents (who vote) can't make up their mind how good the good the economy, foreign policy and/or other issues make the difference in elections.
