They made 5 Vs 6 for the eliminator instead of 3 Vs 4 yet haven't dropped 3 and 4 for rejecting the eliminator which is in their rules which implies they weren't offered it, which again, is against their own rules. There's probably something else to it, just doesn't feel very IBF.

The Rozicki fight wouldn't have got in the way of it when it was called, plus signing to a promoter shouldn't stop an eliminator being called as it's not the IBF's fault that Zuffa is non-cooperative. Opetaia's position makes sense in line with their rules.

I don't know the exact timeline but CBS-Rozicki got announced shortly after the elimination was called, right? So I guess he was already in negotiations when the IBF contracted him.
