I agree Keith. I think once the first bell rings, attention will likely move swiftly away from the perceived weight making issue, and turn to whatever gap in skill there is and whether Benn can overcome it with effort.
I've made 293 bets on boxing this year and I won't be betting a penny on this. Too tough to call.
The value bet is Benn on points at 7-1 but Benn looks drained and Garcia is erratic. I agree it’s not a good fight to bet on
Keep your money in your pocket James. I don't bet value, even though everything I read says I should. I don't think boxing lends itself to value. If Fighter B is 7/1 and you think it should be more like 5/1, that doesn't mean a lot if Fighter A is the promoter's fighter. Boxing has to be the only sport in the world where you bet on a two horse race, your nag wins by four lengths and you still lose your bet.

I still haven't seen a compelling case for why this will be competitive.
This is the best prediction/description ive seen. Also hope it comes to fruition.

Most of UK cant stand Benn, most of USA cant stand Garcia. Hopefully UK fans can cheer for a jaw dropping Garcia stoppage of that absolute gobshite Benn.

I feel that Benn, if he can make the weight, would out hustle Rolly Romaro.

I'm hoping to break a 2 fight losing streak(Hrgovic-Itauma and Knyba-Ruiz); Garcia by decision.

Garcia carrying on like a 16 year old there.

Seems overly fixated on Benn’s weight making too.

Surely the worst bar none is that US commentator with the awful hair dye job who called Paul/Tyson and loads of the Wilder title fights. He talks like he's voicing a cartoon character and his entire frame of reference seems to be rap music.

The mass descent into Idiocracy continues at an alarming rate.

I feel like you mean Mauro Ranallo .. but don’t know if he fits the hair dye description. He also did WWE got a bit just like Tessitore does now.

I didn’t mind Ranallo

Benn had had the most well managed career I can think of. He’s got genuine boxing people believing he can beat Garcia. Benn is and has only ever been bang average off the eggs. Garcia for all his faults is still very good. If it’s a level playing field this isn’t even close

I don’t see how he beats Garcia if he’s not on the gear, I really don’t.

If Rolly Romero and Luke Campbell can put him on the deck, Connor Benn can. So maybe decks him twice en-route to a decision. Or maybe Garcia hasn't prepared properly or he's mentally off. I can definitely see ways that Benn wins.

Benn has put down a depleted Eubank since he got caught doping that’s it. His power is a complete myth.

It's a big ask for Benn to win this. Since he's stopped taking PED's, he hasn't stopped anyone, albeit at a higher weight.

With the weight loss you wonder about his punch resistance. When he get's cracked with a left hook, his reaction will tell us a lot. If his chin is there, he may be able to outwork Garcia, but I would favour Garcia here.

Not everywhere. In the US it’s included with Paramount+ and in Germany you can also watch it on Paramount+, there’s even a 7-day free trial. It’s a DAZN PPV in the UK.

It’s an easy to fight to bet on & win money on.

Garcia is evens on skybet to win inside the distance & 9/2 to win in the first 6 rounds.

He’s fighting a British level fighter who has a really poor defence & may also be weight drained

Ryan Garcia 145.5.

Shall I post RBR thread tomorrow night in the British section of CS?

I know the fight has had more traffic on the British section since it was announced.
