Most people accurately predicted the outcome of the Garcia-Benn fight.

Everyone expected it to be a one-sided bout. And most people felt that Benn hadn’t earned a world title shot.

But Conor Benn’s surname and social media following will inevitably provide him with an opportunity to participate in one or two more commercially big fights, even though, from a sporting perspective, he doesn’t deserve those sizeable paydays.

Benn has done really well for himself despite being continental level at best.

Hopefully the manner of this defeat will make him realise his limitations.

All together a disappointing fight. It surprised me that Garcia was able to catch Benn almost on every attempt when he came forward. I somehow had expected Ryan to have problems keeping Benn off him in the first part of the fight.

I was kind of upset that immediately after the fight DAZN went back to a lifeless studio in UK, while there were all kinds of things still going on with Teofimo coming to the ring etc. Missed all that .
Maybe for paramount+ viewers it was different.

Expected outcome between a regional level guy and a solid world level fighter.

Even though I don't have much faith in Garcia because he's so inconsistent.

This was pretty much the result I expected 'and stated would happen. Ryan Garcia is by far the more talented fighter, and better in every department than Conor Benn'.

Note: The only real chance Conor Benn had in this fight 'was beating Garcia due to him being complacent with his preparation. Because one thing Conor Benn has always brought into his fights, is a supreme level of conditioning'.

But Ryan Garcia was not complacent, and clearly had a solid training camp 'while Conor Benn was possible struggling at the weight limit, which compounded his disadvantages against Garcia'.

At least Conor Benn was stopped in his feet 'but in reality? He has never proven himself to be a world level fighter; he has never won any domestic titles. And this was his first real top level fight where the opponent has not been tactically disadvantaged during preparation so the likely-hood of a Conor Benn win is increased dramatically'.

The two fights vs. Chris Eubank Junior where manufactured wins 'somehow Eubank Junior while dead at the weight, won the first fight and should have moved up immediately to 168 pounds'.

Nevertheless, Conor Benn is a fighter 'and with his level of talent and abilities he has done well in his career' etc.
