Why did Brown say he didn’t like or thank Sam Jones?

Haha. Hearn like a little child.

He wants Brown to smash Jai Opetaia at Old Trafford haha

After a tricky few early rounds he settled down & looked good. I didn't realise how fast he was.

Who would you have next for Pat? I don't think he's ready for a CBS yet (he might be).

Someone like a Kevin Lerena would be a good match up.

Brown is vicious. Would be a handful for most but not ready for the likes of Benavidez or Opetaia yet.

I think Opetaia would relish the chance of making lots of money.

Hearn does it with all his hot prospects, didn't he say Benn was going to light up the welterweight division?.

Brown seemed a bit square on and Hedges ran out of ideas when he realised he couldn't dent him. Otepaia does him in obviously. Chev Clarke could be good or Massey. Both decent punchers who have been at a good level.

Hedges doesn’t look strong enough at that weight, no real dig in his punches

Opetaia would smash Brown's bonce off with relative ease.

Any ideas? Jones seems to be linked to Brown’s team but Brown seemed to go out his way to have a dig at him after the fight saying he thanked his team but not Sam Jones.

Brown got there in the end but he was tense early and dangerous with the head, should've had a point off, Hedges started off well, was elusive and picking off Brown with some nice counters, Brown slowly got into the fight though and was beginning to catch Hedges more often, the ending in the 6th was still a shocker, left hook to the body dropped Hedges, he was up straight away but the same shot had him down again and this time he wasn't getting up, good finish from Brown but took him a bit to get going

It's gotta be hard to like Sam Jones. Has he got any real clout as a manager?

Hearns sees him as an annoying cling on and I can't see Bricktop being fond of his style

Yep. Loads of good opponents for him at British level and Riley has the EBU. Hopefully we see some of those fights.

Hedges looked a little bit soft, which is a miracle considering his height and weight.

Some of the prelims were better than the main card.

Rafferty, Croft and Middlemiss were impressive, while the Masoud-Mansilla and Howarth-O'Regan fights were dull.

The the main event was very good though, clean KO from a body punch.
