Gerry Cooney vs Michael Spinks

[Nile4000]

Cooney of Norton vs Spinks of Holmes l. Who wins?

[gilgamesh]

Much more interesting fight in this scenario. Cooney may well be too strong and motivated in that form, but I'd have to give Spinks the benefit of the doubt still as he always displayed more skill and ability than Cooney ever mustered even on his best day.

So in this case I'd take Spinks to win a hard fought decision as opposed to a TKO stoppage.

Cooney stops him in about 7.

Spinks for me. Probably late stoppage.
