Like I said. He’s full off it:

The fact that it’s still primetime USA and not UK, it may as well just be in the States.

Netflix got what they wanted.

I am aware I will be outvoted, and I will watch it. But I just feel it is far too late, and Usyk has taken away any pretence that these are the top two.

Plus the loser will be able to say 'well, I would have won if it happened when it should have', even if that is wrong
I feel similar. I’ll watch it & probably enjoy it but there was a time when I’d have been buzzing about this fight getting made.

I’ve less excitement for this than I had for Wardley - Dubois & Hrgovic - Itauma.

It’s settling who’s got the most left rather than who is the best & that’s the disappointment of it.

Totally. It is one for casuals.

Gotta disagree, I'll be there, if it wasn't for Ed and AJ, I wouldn't be.

It will sell out but a cold Friday night in Cardiff will be a right pain with hotels etc bumping their room rates up.

‼️ Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua will be for the WBA 'super' heavyweight title, The Ring’s @MikeCoppinger has learned.

Murat Gassiev is the current holder of the WBA's 'regular' heavyweight title.

Not going to buy tickets however if I can get free ones I'll go.

Cardiff stadium is only 17000 seats smaller than Wembley so I know a seat for £150 is not going to get you much. So I'm happy to go if I get a free £50 seat.

I'm going to put this out now. If anyone fancies going for a minimum fee of around £7-50 but bare in mind seats in the gods I'm happy to buy what I can.

My grandson wants to go and has no probs sitting in tier 4, he's just hoping Fury gets splattered. Of course the atmosphere will be great so if interested you need to let me know. As soon as free tickets are available I'll buy them.

Totally. It is one for casuals.
I will be watching so I am definitely a casual after 50+ years of watching boxing & going to shows in different countries & seeing, in the flesh, fighters like Lennox, Loma, Mugabi, Benn, Eubank, fornicate it I could go on for paragraphs listing fighters from the last 50 years. Plus all the small hall shows & even the Gypsy bare knuckle horror shows my brother used to drag me to back in the early 80s.

I am definitely a Casual :TU:

OK, I will rephrase. PREDOMINANTLY for the casuals. Most will know it is far too late.

But apologies if a catch all generalisation besmirched your credentials. It wasn't intentional

70,000+ in attendance. Then you've got all the local businesses that will benefit from it. That's a lot of people. Ed and AJ deserve credit for this IMO.

No worries Mr Pea.

It's actually the term casual that makes me laugh.

It reminds me of when you're a teenager & you're looking for down at friends because you liked a band 3 weeks before they did.

I haven't been here for a long time. In the intervening period I have had people in work coming up to me asking things like 'do you think Jake Paul could beat AJ'. So maybe it has affected me in my use of terminology

Enjoy the fight champ!

Suspect the main event will end up like Brook vs Khan.

Will only bother if there's something I want to see on the undercard.

Shakur v Manny
Dave Allen v Frazier Clarke II
Wood v Warrington II
The Return of Campbell Hatton
And for the locals - Joe Cordina v Petrol Station Bloke II

Stacked from top to bottom.

Its easy enough to get a 20 minute taxi to somewhere outside of the city centre if they up their prices. Quick & easy enough to get out of Cardiff.

Be interesting to see what games Fury does to mess Joshua around - last minute injury is favourite I think.

Joshua destroys Fury, something even Peter Fury is saying now too. Both Fury and Joshua have no chin about now, but Joshua can still punch, and Fury has never had a punch .. Joshua has 12rnds to hit the target.

Fury does have a punch when he sets his feet.

Obviously nowhere near AJs punch but he can still whack.

And AJs chin is nowhere near Furys.

I'd love your prediction to be true but I don't think AJ can do six rounds anymore so he'll have to catch Fury early. A 12th round KO ain't happening.
