Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua | NETFLIX - 11 December 2026
Anthony Joshua is Tyson Fury's most difficult fight stylistically 'Tyson Fury has always known this, which is why he has actively avoided him throughout his career'.
The only time Fury has piped up in regard to Anthony Joshua 'is whenever he has been suffering through vulnerable times in his career. Even still during those times, Joshua has signed to fight Tyson Fury'.
Note: Joshua quite simply has more attributes in his game 'which are a danger to Fury, than Tyson Fury has in his game'.
Anthony Joshua has greater punching power, superior combination punch ability, he is actually in terms of pure boxing fundamentals a more technically correct and sound fighter than Fury.
And when you really check their resumes both in the Amateur ranks and professional 'Joshua has a superior resume'.
Anthony Joshua is the 2012 Olympic 'the facts are: He was superior amateur fighter than Fury, even though he began boxing later stage in his career'.
Tyson Fury's most notably and best performance as an amateur fighter "is being beaten by David Price in a close fight. At the time Price was a commonwealth bronze medallist'.
Anthony Joshua is also a Super Heavyweight 'LETS ALL GET ONE thing straight right now. Tyson Fury has never fought on the front foot vs. a top level super heavyweight. Never mind an elite level Super Heavyweight in Anthony Joshua'.
So this notion, and narrative that Tyson Fury is going to walk through Anthony Joshua 'is pure nonsense. Because he if he decides to do that he will be absolutely smashed real quick'.
Anthony Joshua has outperformed Tyson Fury against all the common opponents they have shared "Otto Wallin pushed Fury right to the line, and busted him up real good. Joshua smashed Wallin up and forced a stoppage inside 5 rounds. Francis Ngannou beat Tyson Fury over 10 rounds, all the statistics of the fights how this. Joshua obliterated Ngannou inside 2 rounds'.
And then we have Tyson Fury's win vs. Wladimir Kiltschko 'which was a great win in terms of historical significant. But the actually action was extremely underwhelming; I don't rate it as a master class'.
Whereas 17 months after that fight, and after Wladimir Kiltschko enduring three back to back training camps, due to Tyson Fury unfortunately pulling out of the rematch due to his then circumstance. Wladimir Kiltscko vs. Anthony Joshua took place. The greatest heavyweight title fight of the past 25 years. And the facts are, Anthony Joshua not Tyson Fury knocked Kiltschko out and forced him into retirement.
That was the night April 29th 2017 ''when a new Heavyweight dynasty had begun. Because Anthony Joshua did not disappear, it is now 2026, and Joshua he is still here'.
I am backing Anthony Joshua to win via knockout; I have always maintained this view etc.

I like all that stuff, Ruthless makes it a news site as well as a forum.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑24 Sep 2026, 14:41Personally I would ban all the pasting of articles and press releases, just kills discussion when everyone ends up constantly scrolling through walls of text.

I'm not sure if Fury's going to be able to stop AJ. He hasn't stopped anyone in four years.

Wonder what the ticket prices will be like for this. I don’t reckon I’ll bother if it’s pisstake prices, will prob pay up to £150 for a seat up in the gods just for the atmosphere but not paying more than that.

AJ can knock out Fury.
Can Fury knock out this depleted version of AJ?
If not, AJ will land big at some point. Not sure Fury can befuddle him for 12 rounds like he did Klitschko.

Am I missing something here or did AJ not look like his punch resistant had completely gone in the last fight? like a stiff breeze would knock him over. Fury doesn’t need to be a puncher to send him spinning.

Yeah I wanted to let everyone know that if they were boxing in my garden I'd close the curtains. I think Prenga punches harder than the current version of Fury - and he couldn’t put AJ awayMightyWarrior wrote: ↑24 Sep 2026, 16:01 Am I missing something here or did AJ not look like his punch resistant had completely gone in the last fight? like a stiff breeze would knock him over. Its true - Joshua appears to have no chin what-so-ever. But, Furys chin isn`t much better. Even Wach appeared to wobble Fury in the round prior to him retiring which lots have suggested prompted a little message to Wach to quit ..MightyWarrior wrote: ↑24 Sep 2026, 16:01 Am I missing something here or did AJ not look like his punch resistant had completely gone in the last fight? like a stiff breeze would knock him over. Of course any 19st man can hit hard, but Fury isn`t going to be on the front foot against Joshua .. he will try to stay well away from Joshuas punches and wait for an opening .. and there is of course a chance he gets lucky and tags Joshua and stops him. But more cautious Fury is it also keeps Joshua in the fight, because Fury has never been in a fight against someone who hits as hard as Joshua (Wilder fought trash so had the overinflated punchers resume) and Joshua is a great finisher; once he has wobbled Fury he will quickly put Fury down like a bag of custard.
Lots have said this fight is 5 years at least too late, and to gauge who really was the best in their primes - it probably is. But back them Joshua would have absolutely banjo`d Fury - and Fury knew it hence him avoiding it like the plague. Whereas as now with Joshua having absolutely no chin Fury has a better chance ..
I have read they are earning higher than any British boxer has before for this fight. That most likely rules out Fury claiming an injury - after all he has had a few months in Thailand to cycle and he won`t risk Netflix and Turki dropping the money.

Wow 450 for an upper deck is a lot. Atmosphere is great but a terrible way to actually watch boxong...
Given how faded these guys are I would want a 9/10 undercard for me to go see it live (not that I will from aus,,-

Ignore those shitty AI posters made by morons, loads floating about.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua | NETFLIX - 11 December 2026
A few years ago this would have been all about who is the better boxer.
In December 2026 it will be about who can get through the rough patches and continue. I think that will be Fury.

I feel like I'd attend fights with far more regularity in the U.K. Should be a particularly fun atmosphere, and a pretty f*cking drunk crowd for this one

Surely getting home will be a logistical nightmare for many. It will be at 3 am potentially. I don’t know what parking is like there; I also imagine minicabs will quadruple their prices.
