No, that's not correct. Fury has his own contract, AJ has his. They aren't the same and they won't see each others.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 07:55Oh ok. But when it comes to signing a contract both parties would have to sign one and the same copy.KiwiRider wrote: ↑29 Sep 2026, 19:52There was one contract originally and it was agreed to by both parties. That doesn’t really answer my question. One fight. One contract.![]()

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua | NETFLIX - 11 December 2026
The contract will be with Turki, so Turki will sign with each of them. Two separate contracts with Turki. However, they should include the same terms, which I think is what James is getting at, as if they involve conflicting terms then Turki can get sued for breach of contract which is why he's trying to change the terms in his contract with Joshua now. He has already changed the terms in his contract with Fury.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 08:14No, that's not correct. Fury has his own contract, AJ has his. Thanks for explaining. Maybe I don’t understand the legal process when it comes to boxing. That makes it clearerjoshj909 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 08:22The contract will be with Turki, so Turki will sign with each of them. Two separate contracts with Turki. The contracts aren't usually like this, it's just the way Turki does it.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 11:18Thanks for explaining. A lot of big fights he’s put on, he’s done separate deals with each boxer.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 11:20The contracts aren't usually like this, it's just the way Turki does it.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 11:18Thanks for explaining. Beterbiev-Bivol duology
Eubank-Benn duology
But I agree, as long as the terms are the same. That’s the main thing,

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua | NETFLIX - 11 December 2026
Right. Although this has got me thinking - I would guess each fighter has his own financial terms and these are not disclosed to the opposite party? So surely that means there are in effect 2 separate contracts for every fight? Or are the financial contracts separate from the fight contract and Ts and Cs? I’m confusing myself nowkeithmoonhangover wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 11:20The contracts aren't usually like this, it's just the way Turki does it.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑30 Sep 2026, 11:18Thanks for explaining. This is 10 years too late, they both might be completely shot, It’s a cynical cash grab and yet on fight day it will be can’t miss. Just a huge event.
Hopefully we don’t have to hear them both talk again before then

Tickets on sale 9th October I think? Hoping to get a pre-sale, my mortgage is with Principality and sometimes they get limited advance event tickets. My missus used to work at their head office so was basically guaranteed tickets due to the stadium sponsorship, but she very selfishly moved jobs, stitched me right up ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
