Jr Flyweights: Michael Carbajal vs Ricardo "Finito" Lopez

[elmersalsa]

This would have been a great match in the 90s decades. What happened that they didn't fight for a mega million payday super fight?

12 rounds.

Who wins? Manitos de Piedra or Finito?

Carbajal is a personal favorite but he drops the duke in this one.

Would have to favor Finito. Carbajal would be stronger and with his aggressive style would give Finito a hell of a fight, but the superior technique of Lopez is gonna win out.

It seems to me that Finito never wanted to challenge Michael Carbajal in Carbajal's reigning prime. Neither he wanted to fight Humberto "Chiquita" Gonzalez.

Is there any truth to this?

Because Finito jumped to Jr flyweight right after Carbajal wasn't prime anymore. I think that Carbajal jumped to the Flyweight division.
