I wish Kamara well but that really wasn’t any kind of jaw-dropping debut.
Against a stubborn old Greek guy.

I agree to some extent - he would get caught but the Greek guy had no power. However it’s only his first pro fight and he’s young. But I definitely don’t get any ‘generational talent’ type vibesoverhand_right wrote: ↑03 Oct 2026, 16:58 Ye gads! Kamara is an accident waiting to happen. Chin in the air, gets caught.
Gift stoppage as journeyman was making him look bad.
Bet large the first time he fights a live body.

I think it's a great tune for a ring walk, better than all that roadman grime bollox.

“Ain’t no stopping us now”.
Y’know that tune that gets the whole crowd electrified and appeals to the youth watching…

Kamala looked a bit open and was breathing early…. Buttt he is 22 and it’s his debut high up on a card and Was looking for flashy shots.
But given he is going to have 10+ easy fights over the next 2 years he should have a lot of time to settle down and go back to a more sustainable style/output.
His jab looked solid, his flashy shots were nice, if it’s just he was throwing 5 flashy shots for every jab… once he gets to any kind of levle he will have to reverse that ratio…

I also hope the massive DAZN circle-jerk calms down a bit. Kamara has it all to prove.

I’ve backed & I expect Whittaker to win this in the first 6 rounds.
I see nothing on Wallace’s record to suggest he’ll give Whittaker much of a fight although I hope I’m wrong because I want to see Whittaker face a test like he did in the first Cameron fight to see how he copes.

Yes. We are so lucky to have the iconic, the legendary, the one, the only Voice Of Boxing (tm) and author of Ricky Hatton: The Light That Never Goes Out, bringing us back to the glory days!

What is it with these entrances.
Whatever happened to boxers just walking to the ring.
Save these for big fights.

Whittaker is a moron.
Re: Ben Whittaker vs. Conor Wallace | DAZN - 3 October 2026
Wallace to me fights like a guy who has reached his level and will go no further.
He seems very aware of the physical strain just to feint and set up attacks. I think Whitaker is going to have things his own way tonight

I always think of the Sky Skeleton from Scoobie Doo when I see Whitaker’s robe.
Great cartoon villain.
