Anyone on here seen the lad Tyson Fury in action?

Post by yiddo14 »

Just wondering if there is someone on this forum who has seen this kid fight,or seen him sparring?

Been hearing a lot about him from numerous people.Quite conflicting reports, some say he has got bags of talent, others say the hype machine is in over drive!!!

The ABA's start soon,so we shall all see how good this lad really is.

Could be some interesting fights in this years super heavies(providing all the best fighters are entering)
Looks to be the strongest it's been for a while in terms of quality.

there was a thread about him on here not so long back, think he performed well in the championships but got robbed of a descision by some khazakstan or ukranian or something (allegedly).

Yeah, the England junior coaches were saying it was a dodgy decision that led to him losing in the recent world juniors(would'nt be the first time I have heard this from an England coach though!)

Still, picking up a bronze at the very same championships after only 13 or so bouts suggests the hype over him could be reasonably well founded.

This guy is his Dad, who incidently is a cousin of the famous Gypsy fighter Bartley Gorman "King of the Gypsies."
