Milans Volkovs vs Joel McIntyre

McIntyre heads over to Lativa tonight to take on local lad Volkovs on DAZN, McIntyre was a decent prospect a few years back, fought in Prizefighter and has been in with a who's who of light heavy/cruiser domestic scene, hes a journeyman these days, I seen Volkovs last fight he won a shut out, not really sure what McIntyre has left to offer

Anyone know why Joel’s boxing on a foreign license , still a good test for anyone & plenty of money could be earned in the UK but not sure he’d be allowed to box over here , bit of a strange situation?

Sounds like a licence issue if he’s fighting on a random one. He must be knocking on if he was in the prizefighter days

Volkovs takes a wide 8 round decision, fun scrap actually, McIntyre maybe passed his best but still hard, Volkovs hurt him end of 3rd had him on the ropes when the bell went, McIntyre had his moments but Volkovs that sharper boxer and landing most of the telling shots, in the last though McIntyre hurt him with a right and put it on him, Volkovs finished well though and it was a cracking last round
