Went to see that fight live. I knew Harrison wouldn't last long and wasn't surprised when he was stopped in 3.

Incidentally just been watching a few of Martin Rogan fights, he bought Harrison twice, won 1 and lost 1. Rogan was a hard bloke and if took up boxing in his 20s rather than debuting at 30byears old, he might have been a force in the British ring.

I remember Rogan he was a cabby wasn’t he, tough bugger remember him vs Skelton and co.

I liked Audley as I was 16 when he won the Olympics and I bought his book after I thought he was the best thing since sliced bread him and Courtney Fry. Ah the follies of youth. 10 years on I thought he’d win cos Hearn said so!

Moses Itauma has won nothing as an Amateur fighter at elite level 'and he has won zero titles as a professional fighter. Harrison had to beat the reigning European Champion in Michael Sprott to earn his world title fight'.

Note: Audley Harrison won his Olympic Gold Medal more decisively than Anthony Joshua 'so this notion that he was somehow fortunate to become the Olympic Champion is complete nonsense. Harrison was also the 1998 Commonwealth Champion, and he achieved this at a time when boxing was receiving no national funding'.

And I know? British boxing fans like guys like Dave Allen 'but it is like the stand up performance from Eddie Murphy Raw: 1987. In part of his performance, Murphy is talking about how when Italian American's watch the movie Rocky? They believe it is real'.

People who most likely booze every week 'eat junk food 24/7, you believe it. You think a guy like Dave Allen can beat an Olympic Champion. Which is nonsense. There is no way he beats Audley Harrison at his peak'.

Anybody who believes that Dave Allen can beat Audley Harrison 'has a complete and utterly distorted perception of the physics of life'.

There was no denying Audley Harrison's technical skill 'he was not a rudimentary fighter, and he did have big power. If Harrison was confident then he had the beating of most domestic level fighters. Which he proved during his career'.

Dave Allen is not a skilful 'and he is not a great domestic level fighter. Stylistically it is a brilliant fight for Audley Harrison'.

I was made up when David Price 'smashed Dave Allen, he was above himself throughout the entire build up and quite condescending towards Price'.

So overall can people mock Audley Harrison? 'If you are a low level weasel, yes. But the single greatest individual feat, an athlete can achieve is to win an Olympic title. And Audley Harrison was our first boxing Olympic Champion for 32 years, and the first ever Super Heavyweight Olympic Champion' etc.
None of that matters. Prime against prime, Moses and Joshua would KO Audley in one round. They would utterly terrify him.

Dave Allen did a lot better against David Price than Audley did. It's not hard to imagine Allen beating a man who lost to Martin Rogan.

Audley is the only man ever to get one punch KOd by Michael Sprott. Certainly the only name. He also managed to lose 11 rounds in a row to Sprott in the rematch. Who loses every round to Michael Sprott??

I don't care for Moses and Joshua, but they fought like men in their world title fights. How did Audley fight against David Haye?
I definitively think it does matter what you win 'Audley Harrison in the amateur ranks was a Commonwealth and Olympic Champion. He achieved the absolute pinnacle of the sport as a amateur fighter against all the odds. And in the professional ranks, he was the European Champion and WBF World Champion'.

Note: Audley Harrison was the reason 'British Amateur boxing, became one of the biggest and most supported Olympic sports in this country. Below Track and Field Athletics, but nevertheless one of the most funded and supported sports. It all started with Audley Harrison become our first ever Super Heavyweight Olympic Champion, and first boxing World Champion for 32 years'.

Dave Allen has won nothing, zero 'he has been fortunate to come along in the sport 'and benefit from how Anthony Joshua has improved the sport for every fighter at domestic level'.

Dave Allen in my opinion has contributed nothing much to the sport 'he has terrible work ethic, and like I said before? I was made up when he was smashed up and forced into retirement by David Price'.

Don't think for one second? That I am criticising Anthony Joshua 'stating, that Audley Harrison won his Olympic Gold Medal more decisively, that is just a fact'.

Moses Itauma again, has won absolute nothing 'and was less deserving of a World title fight than Audley Harrison.

So you need to stop mentioning Moses Itauma, and Dave Allen in the same domain as Harrison or Joshua 'those latter fighters have actually won elite level titles whether that be in the amateur and professional ranks'.

And what David Haye did to Audley Harrison 'Haye at his peak, could do that do 99.99% of Heavyweights in his era. I rate Haye as a better cruiserweight fighter than Oleksandr Uysk. He most certainly won his world titles in more impressive fashion against better fighters'.

When Dave Allen retires, he disappears from the record books 'if Moses Itauma retires with his current record? He also disappears from the record books, and Audley Harrison objectively had a better career' etc.

In hindsight, yes, Hide would have KOd him. Hide was a cowardly bully but he would have clocked Audley's fear and smelt blood. Audley would've been like a deer in headlights and one of those clobbering Hide shots out of nowhere would have iced him.

Had Frank Bruno not been sectioned I'm convinced Bruno would have done him. He was only about 41 at the time and strong as a horse.

When you're having to cite winning the WBF heavyweight title, you're onto a loser.

Moses winning 8 rounds in a row against Hrgovic bests anything Audley did in his entire professional career.

Did Audley EVER win a round against any world ranked pro? Hrgovic would've finished Audley quicker than he did Allen.

Christ, Audley managed to lose every round to Dominic Guinn -- the guy who would lose every round to every name he faced. Ye gads!

Why is "If Moses Itauma retires at an age where he is seven years younger than Harrison was when he made his pro debut, Harrison would have had a better career" worth saying even is it is true?

If Sugar Ray Robinson stopped boxing when he was 21 we wouldn't remember him either. Does that mean Alan Minter was better?

Audley speaks well & comes across likeable but his pro career was largely dire. He has an excuse for everything.

It was a sad state of affairs really that Haye was so confident in beating Audley that he told all his family & friends round 3 & basically threw nothing for 2 rounds before taking him out in the third. You can see Groves & the rest of them out of their seats at the start of round 3 knowing it was coming.

Incidentally, what was that ginormous swelling on Audley's bonce that is clearly visible in the ring walks to Hate/Harrison? (See official Sky Sports version on YouTube)

He must have been at least 7 days out of sparring but dear lord that looked like a hell of injury. In a strange place too.
