Sanchez is a tough challenge for Hrgovic first.

I think Hrgovic beats Dubois though as long as Dubois fights clean (a big ask) and the ref doesn't jump in early, trusting Hrgovic's chin. The first fight was competitive and so will another one. Hrgovic will have an up hill battle to win rounds though as it's a Warren fight and will likely be in England, which makes a win a bit more difficult for him.

I do believe Hrgovic that he wasn't well in the DDD fight - there has been nothing to suggest he has a stamina issue since.

It will test DDD power and be a good yardstick for where Itauma is at power wise.

I think providing he doesn't cut I find it hard to really go for DDD - Hrgovic WAS winning fight one until he gassed and I still think the old DDD will make an appearance at some stage. I don't believe you just develop heart - yes' he's showed moments, but in Wardley one - after that poor start, he was in control. What will he do with someone like Hrgovic who we have seen can stay strong at the late stages of a fight. I don't think DDD has the ability to be in control of Hrgovic like he was Wardley.

As for Wardley yesterday - that was a really shocking display - Usyk told him what to do "where is jab" - learn to jab FFS.

I don't really want to see yet another rematch for now. Let's see Hrgovic Sanchez and would much rather see Dubois fight Kabayel if they are looking for a unification.

I’d expect Dubois to take the big, hittable lump to the cleaners again.

I think Dubois wins it but it'll probably be a close points decision either way.

You beat Dubois with footwork & precision.

Kabayal has that, Hrgovic doesn't.

I'd like to see Dubois in with Kabayel next , can't see him losing to Hysa so a way forward there

I favour Dubois to beat Hrgović by decision, although a late stoppage victory for the Brit (due to cuts) is also very likely.

Dubois has the edge in punching power and possesses a superior jab, greater ability to sustain pressure and better recent form.

Hrgović is durable and has a dangerous straight right, but his tendency to willingly absorb clean punches and suffer cuts could cost him rounds or lead to another stoppage loss.

That said, Hrgović has a genuine chance of winning. Dubois is a slow starter and has shown he's vulnerable early, particularly against Lerena, Hrgović and Wardley in their first fight. If Hrgović can exploit that weakness before Dubois finds his rhythm, an upset is possible.

this is probably the most interesting fight, where we'll see how good Kabs really is. I'd laugh if Jalolov ends up being the sleeper though in all this post-Usyk belt feeding frenzy. we talked him up for years, then lost faith, but he could still be the man

Does kabayal have footwork? I have never really noticed. Has kabayal ever fought someone with footwork? He seems to exclusively fight plodders… he did fight Sanchez who once had footwork… but he was in a knee brace and had zero footwork that fight.

Zhang, mak, knee brace Sanchez, knyba, I really don’t recall thinking. Kabayal has good footwork… mabey better than these guys but the only way to have slower feet than these above mentioned is to be dead so of corse kabs feet looked a bit better.

But it’s ok he is about to add the fleet footed Hysa to the resume so we should learn a lot there….

Well, realistically he's definitely one of the possibilities. You're basically left with Dubois, Itauma, Hrgovic, Kabayel, Jalolov, Opetaia and Benavidez who could be the man in the next few years. I think they all have their flaws and some are more likely than others, but I think Jalolov has less flaws and is more likely than most on that list. His problem is just that he's not exciting and isn't active or willing to step up rather than him not dominating the fights that he does have.

This is one of the few rematches that is actually needed, but I would prefer to see Kabayel v Dubois if anything just to keep things moving. Hrgovic was talking about early next year for Sanchez. Then whatever time Hrgovic expects off after. That's an unnecessarily long layoff for Dubois when he seems to be at his peak

Hrgović–Sánchez is a difficult one to call. If the Cuban’s knee injury excuse for the Kabayel defeat was legit, then this makes the outcome difficult to predict.

Anyway, I'd narrowly favour Hrgović to win by late stoppage, but it's essentially a 50–50 fight.

His size, durability, straight right hands and sustained pressure could make the difference, although Sánchez winning on points wouldn't surprise me, since the Cuban is a better boxer.

As for the other matchups, I'd favour Kabayel to stop Dubois late in another 50–50 fight. I'd also back Kabayel to beat Hrgović on points in a less competitive bout.

And Dubois to beats Hrgović by decision or late stoppage due to cuts.

I just watched Hrgovic get in the ring after Dubois won & he looks about 4 inches taller than Dubois.

Obviously I know he's not but what is the actual height difference between the two?

It will tell a lot about just where DD is in the heavyweight scene, Last time we all know the headbut played a part , but sit back and take a deep breath , look again , and have a good look , last two fights , well he won them both fairly easy , BUT we all know Fabio has the boxing skills of a novice , he is really still a big strong very heavy handed brawler with a cast iron chin a will to win and the ability too carry his power into the later rnds , which really got him out of trouble and put hime where he is was .

Then look at AJ , well in hindsight you could say AJ was really tailor made for Daniel ,
Dan is a big puncher , --- AJ a bit chinny

Aj , throws his right , drops his left , jabs drops his right ----- Daniel a good counter puncher especielly with his big right hand .

AJ not the fastest ,, ---dANIEL NOT THE SLOWEST

So i suppose when you look at it that way a present time AJ including the AJ that fought Daniel was really tailor made for Daniel AJ is still dining on his ability and form 10 years ago ,

Now go before that Usyk , well nothing remains to be said about Usyk he broke Daniel mantaly and physicly out boxed him , out worked him , and out everything him .

Joyce well that was then and this is now , Hergovic well its been documented he was sick so believe it , Daniel stuck the nut on and got away with it , both have since won and got belts , So bring it on its a fight that will tell us all we need to know , If Daniel can carry what he shown the other day into a fight with Hergovic , well then i think we may have an undisputed champ on British hands .

But mty expectatons are that will only be until Moses gets with a proper trainer , gets his head right , gets match fit , and then goes out and claims whats he's , because given you can put Moses in fully fit raring too go , theres NO WAY does Daniel catch him has easy , and no way does Daniel STAND UP TO HIS PUNCHES LIKE hERGOVIC DID

Then throw Kayabel in the mix and guess what , theres some interesting fights out there if Frank allows them

You didn't say that though, mate.

I'm just saying that Kabayal is very good at foot placement when punching. You need that when beating Dubois. You cannot just outslug him. You have to confuse him with angles & a variety of punches.

Kabayal is able to do that.

Personally I don't know. I have it 55/45 to Dubois.

I mean Joyce certainly didn't use any fancy footwork on him, but in fairness Dubois appears to be a better fighter since then, but I wouldn't say a slugger CAN'T beat him. Because one already has.

Given the several impressive performances since, I think most people would pick 2026 Dubois over 2020 Joyce. Also DDD was ahead on 2 cards anyway when they fought, before the 10th round injury stoppage.
