- Big George!!!
Physical Ruination of Ali who was never the same after ducking the immediate rematch to be held in Indonesia. Instead he went to Podunk Ohio for Chuck Wepner who had him crying to the ref most of the fight. Looked shyte vs Ron Lyle, Joe Frazier in fight 3, ropadoping Jimmy Young that fans had beating Ali, never looking good vs Ken Norton, LEON SPINKS!!!
Add in Jimmy Young who took 10 losses after Foreman, Dwight Qawi who took half his losses after George, Holyfield who took all his 10 losses after George beat him up and had him hanging on on Old George for dear life at the end, Michael Moorer who took 3 more losses after George KOed him and then quit, and Shannon Briggs who never recovered after George beat him up only to lose the decision.
I was working with young bucks then, and they all came to work on Monday furious about the Briggs decision.
The One and Onliest, Big George Foreman...

Ken Buchanan
The Tartan Shorts Legend is most famously known for his controversial KO los to the great Roberto Duran.
Which to me, it was a disgrace. A lot of people forgot how good this guy was. He had that fast lightning left jab and was tough as hell.
Technically, he was never ever knocked out. That Duran KO loss, I admit that it was a low blow. It was his second loss in 45 fights. After that loss, he went into obscurity like George Foreman. Like if he was totally wiped out off the Earth. Which it was a shame.
How can a man that was so good at boxing and won titles at every level of competition be so forgotten? ..
In the 80s decade, I was always wondering about his life after boxing. I knew more about him in the Internet age. But before the Internet, I didn't see much about him. He was totally forgotten.
He has his just due when he was inducted at the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, NY. I felt great and very happy for him that he was remembered by The Ring Magazine.
But, what a fighter he was. He doesn't get quite the recognition that he deserves.
