Question: How are the rankings affected after Dubois annihilated Wardley in less than two rounds? Also, Jalolov defeated Dacres. Does he enter?

I get Parker should be out by now, we'll get to him as well eventually. but I know he's been cleared as well.

Does anyone deserve to even enter the top 15?

Dubois up to #2
Wardley up to #3
Jalolov to #13

This result doesn't change anything for me, just correcting the rankings from before. We already saw Dubois beat Wardley so it's not changing anything. Dubois has brought together better wins than Kabayel and has been much more active. It's been nearly 2 years since Kabayel beat Zhang and he has done, and clearly intends to do, absolutely nothing. It's a shame because he's a great boxer but that doesn't make him deserve to be above Dubois based on achievements.

Wardley has a win over Parker which is a better win on paper than anyone not named Usyk or Dubois has over the past few years. You can argue Hrgovic's win over Itauma but that's still to be seen what level of win Itauma can get when he comes back. Right now, Parker is a better scalp for Wardley than Kabayel's win over Zhang (Parker beat Zhang...). So, despite his losses to the clear number 2, Wardley should be third until he loses to someone worse or someone else wins against someone better than Parker.

Jalolov is on the fringes of 15th. Dacres did get a good win over Sirenko who has recently beat Wallin, but we can't ignore that he was demolished in one round by Adeleye just a few fights ago. Jalolov needs a better opponent, he's not getting any younger.

My current rankings:
1. Usyk
2. Dubois
3. Wardley
4. Kabayel
5. Sanchez
6. Hrgovic
7. Wilder
8. Ajagba
9. Riakporhe
10. Huni
11. Torrez
12. Fury
13. Itauma
14. Miller
15. Suslenkov

EDIT: Bring Jalolov in ahead of Verhoeven who has no right to be there and Joshua's argument is pretty thin too.

I take you vote Parker out then due to inactivity, which means if Jalolov gets added in, then Joshua can keep his spot too

Yeah, that's fine. Parker's only got a couple of days left anyway, makes sense to remove him now. Jalolov in ahead of Verhoeven.

Jalolov is not a serious professional boxer. He's wasting time until the Olympics and won't take a serious pro fight until at least 2029 when he's 35. Get him out of the rankings. I also don't consider Rico a serious boxer. He needs an actual *win* before anyone should call him top 15.

Wardley I would drop to 10th or lower.

10. Fabio Wardley
11. Moses Itauma
12. Murat Gassiev
13. Deontay Wilder

Dubois to #2
Wardley to #12
Jalolov in at #15

Artem Suslenkov won again on Oct. 16, 2026, stopping Sergey Kuzmin in a pro fight, knocking him down twice in the 4th round. Kuzmin's corner pulled him out between the 4th and 5th rounds. I'm thinking he should be in at #14 or #15. Highlights here:

DDD to 1 (weird considering Usyk schooled him twice but I think given there performances since)

Wardly stays at 6 (weird considering he got battered twice, but given it’s by my number 1 I find it hard to punish him and move him bellow guys that haven’t beat a top 15 in years)

Jalov to 12 (wouldent crack the top 100 for excitement, but would beat most of this top 15 list)

Please explain why. There are far worse matchups that are counted by BoxRec. It wasn't an IBA fight, it was a regular pro fight.

Jalolov still out. I know he would probably beat most of the top 15 with ease (on points) but he still hasn't fought anybody.

DuBois #2

Wardley #13 The first fight was a long brutal beating. The rematch just showed he has no punch resistance anymore.

Jalolov #12 He may possibly be the most boring heavyweight today, but he is a good fighter

No punch resistance? Are you kidding? He copped a fullllll ddd shot to the chin and his knee touched for half a second… then he copped 20 more and didn’t go down. No punch resistance… 99.9% of the world would have been snoring after the first shot… 90% of top heavyweights would too.

I think that's the thing that would probably be harder to come back from here than the physical damage.

His confidence and self belief surely has taken a hit from these 2 blows, and considering his lack of technical skill I'm not sure that's a hurdle he'll ever be able to get past. Like the next time he's in a fight and taking a lot of punishment instead of that "I'll get him. Eventually I'll get him" type attitude that he seemed to have for the Huni and Parker bouts. May turn to "Oh no, not again" for fear that he's in for another beating.

Up until you get beaten up and stopped you're not sure it can happen to you. Wardley will no longer have the luxury of that much self confidence.

You could sure see the damage that had been done to that nose still on his face. The broken nose in their 1st fight was pretty brutal.

The fight was over in the first round 'he was completely ineffective, and posing an almost zero threat to Daniel Dubois after the first knock down'.

Note: Compare this to Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois 'just like Wardley, Joshua was caught early in the first round with a knockout blow'.

5 rounds later, Anthony Joshua even while severely concussed was still in the fight 'and beginning to turn the fight around. Every time he was decked, he got up and was still dangerous'.

It was Anthony Joshua's worst night ever strategically and tactically 'but he did fight courageously, until he was eventually knocked out. Even after the final knock down, he was still scrambling to get to his feet just after the count of 10'.

Fabio Wardley's durability has been overrated 'he has had two fights at genuine world level, and has been stopped twice. And the rematch vs. Dubois? The first big punch, rendered him completely ineffective'.

Fabio Wardley is of course a tough and durable fighter 'but many people in the boxing community were putting him right up there it seems with George Foreman and Evander Holyfield. Before this rematch his durability was being overrated by miles'.

He was doing nothing after the first big punch 'Fury has been hurt and comes back, and even Anthony Joshua time and time again in his career when hurt? Has always came back fighting, until the fight is done' etc.
