Your Current Top 10 Pound For Pound

Post by Taansend »

I'm not massively into this but we've had a lot of changes in the last year or two.

Dubois got smashed by Usyk last year but bounced back to look hardcore while Usyk struggled with a boxing novice. Crawford is gone, Canelo is not top ten and so on.

So right now, here's my top ten (it could change tomorrow). Let me know yours.

1 - Inoue
2 - Bam
3 - Shakur
4 - Usyk
5 - Bivol
6 - Benavidez
7 - Haney
8 - Nakatani
9 - Foster
10 - Boots

If you want to know, my criteria is what they have done in the last 2/3 years plus a sprinkling of overall career.

p.s. I know I have forgotten someone :OhYes:

I did think about Jai but his best wins are an ageing Briedis - which are still amazing wins - but not a great body other than that.

A win over Benavidez would put him top 5 though.

He's on the outer edges right now for me. I feel like that 10th spot almost always remains up for grabs based on the most recent performances.

On the fringes of my Top 10 are Vergil Ortiz, O'Shaquie Foster, Raymond Muratalla and Sebastian Fundora. Any 1 of those guys are only 1 win away from possibly finding their way into the Top 10, and of course Usyk's retirement from the sport should be right around the corner which will leave a spot open for somebody to take.
