Midterms - lets go!!!
My prediction after the iran dimpshittery was major dem sweep, trump impeached and convicted
Impeachment will be on buying pardons
Here is where i stand
Mi - dem
Oh - dem (gov and senate)
Nc - dem
Mn- dem
Wi gov - dem
Maine - repub hold
Iowa - unsure right now need more research
Tx close leaning dem

Re: Midterms - lets go!!!
Georgia appears to be leaning toward re-electing its Democratic US Senator. But the Republican billionaire gubernatorial candidate who is spending hundreds of his own millions on Tv ads will scrape by the terrible Dem nominee in that race. I have a close friend working on the Repúblican’s race as a consultant and he has a very good track record. So Georgia looks like a probable split, which it was in 2022 as well

MI-GOP Senate. Too many won't vote for him. Dem will win MI Gov
OH- Dem on both.
NC, GA, Maine, = Dem, GOP will win GA Gov
IA- GOP senate, Dem Gov

Does impeachment actually make any difference? Trump has already been impeached twice.

If you are convicted by the senate you are removed from officesheedyblue wrote: ↑24 Oct 2026, 10:46 Does impeachment actually make any difference? Trump has already been impeached twice.
There is a much higher chance of that this time
Re: Midterms - lets go!!!
I'd say there's almost zero chance of them getting him removed from Office, and I honestly don't even think the Dems should pursue that. It would make them look petty as if they only want to f*ck over Donald instead of do what they were elected to do and help the country.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑24 Oct 2026, 12:25If you are convicted by the senate you are removed from officesheedyblue wrote: ↑24 Oct 2026, 10:46 Does impeachment actually make any difference? Nothing happens when you try to punish Donald. Nothing sticks. There's no need in trying anymore with that sh*t.

Impeachment makes you more popular. That happened with both Clinton and trump. And if it's successful (It won't be, more on that later) you give Vance a heads up.gilgamesh wrote: ↑24 Oct 2026, 14:12I'd say there's almost zero chance of them getting him removed from Office, and I honestly don't even think the Dems should pursue that. Even if the Dems win about 53 senate seats, which is more or less a best case scenario, I don't see how you get to 67 votes. Only 2 GOP senators I can think of that may vote for Impeachment, and one is Susan Collins and she will likely lose reelection.

If you believe that you can get around 8-1 on the Republican. I'd be laying money like crazy if I was getting 8.-1 on a coin flip. I seriously dont think it is a coin flip, but hey if you do, I'd be going for it.giacomino wrote: ↑23 Oct 2026, 23:24 Georgia appears to be leaning toward re-electing its Democratic US Senator. Jon Ossoff is 97% in Georgia on Kalshi. That means if giacomino thinks it's even money then he can currently get more like 20 to 1 by backing the Republican candidate.Tony1244 wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 10:22You can get 8-1 for betting on Dem senate and GOP Gov in GA?conan_the_cribber wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 04:49If you believe that you can get around 8-1 on the Republican. 97% seems a bit ridiculous to me. Meaning you would bet ion the underdog? These betting sites often have >90% chance when I think it should be more like 70%.Booster McCrane wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 14:34I'm not a betting man but I would take those odds in a heartbeat.conan_the_cribber wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 13:55Jon Ossoff is 97% in Georgia on Kalshi. I didn’t say Ossoff vs Collins was even money. Collins is a dope. I indicated the governor’s race is close. Ossoff is running for re-election to the US senate, not governorconan_the_cribber wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 13:55Jon Ossoff is 97% in Georgia on Kalshi. I think another split decision again Ironically, the Dem Gov nominee will help Ossoff, but I think he will win but not her.giacomino wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 16:22I didn’t say Ossoff vs Collins was even money. Not sure exactly where I should post this, I almost started a new thread but it looks like Lula may win in Brazil ! That's a start. Now we just need to get rid of trump, Putin, Kim Jon, and Netanyahu.

Sadly I think Le Pen is gonna win in France. The recent rioting/looting is gonna send people running to the right. AfD seem to be gaining ground in Germany as well.
Re: Midterms - lets go!!!
Why sadly? Her country has been absolutely sold down the river, for decades. Hopefully she can make France French again.
