I found this petition about the amateur boxing age limit in England. I'd love to see a Masters Division or similar so I've signed already, I hope others will too. They suggest donating but it's not mandatory.

Should England Boxing allow competitors over 40?

Boxing is for young folk

All the science points to 35 being the start of the higher risk curve for CTE.
The curve sharpens at 40 quite abruptly by the latest studies.
If you haven't got boxing out of your system by 40, it's probably the board's place to say no if no one else in your life will

In America I think the age limit is even younger for Amateurs

Young mans game

It varies but you should definitely have to prove that you're competent and not taking unnecessary damage. Some top pros, especially at heavyweight, can be competitive in their early 40s but I think a journeyman who's been KO'd numerous times in their career should be protected. Heightened scrutiny for those over 40 with more hoops to jump through plus a masters division would be a good start.

I'd have a 40 limit for ams and pros
