Two knockdowns for Zon not counted, garbage ref again, 58–56 to Zon.

Zon recovers pretty well between rounds. Munguia hasn’t been able to take over.

Three mean hits behind the head from Munguia and barely noted by the ref. Zon took the round off.
67–66 Zon

Exactly. And weeks keeps on telling Zon off for nothingHeldenjaeger wrote: ↑31 Oct 2026, 16:58 Two knockdowns for Zon not counted, garbage ref again, 58–56 to Zon.

Zon still dangerous enough to have more big moments in this fight.

Another close round, and again Munguia stays on the ropes for too long. 86–85 Zon

Zon looks to be fading here.

Still a close fight but Zon doesn't have the energy to consistently attack Munguia anymore. 95-95
Bad refereeing probably saves Munguia here.

105–104 Munguia, they are both exhausted.

116-112, 2x 117-111, UD Munguia.
117-111 is too wide in my opinion but that has to be expected, not only the ref is corrupt.

My feelings on the fight - Munguia deserved the win but not by those scores.
Referee was super biased - Zon could’ve had 2 knockdowns and Weeks kept on warning Zon for nothing whilst ignoring Munguia’s infractions.
Zon is one unorthodox fighter and weirdly effective.

Munguia wins it in the second half, Zon was arguably up after 6, he was tricky, looked slow and a bit sloppy, didn't look the puncher his record suggested, Munguia had the quality though, some of the body shots he caught Zon with looked sickening, Zon looked wide open as well, thought Munguia was gonna nail him but that 6th round was round of the year, he hurt Munguia with an uppercut then proceeded to leather Munguia heavily, how he never went down is beyond me, several times he was gone but he just kept coming back then eventually hurt Zon, madness, neither guy was same thereafter, fight fizzled out Zon lost a lot of steam, still nails but Munguia done enough down the stretch, hurt Zon to the body in the 11th as well

But he did got down twice, Weeks just didn't bother counting.handsofstone wrote: ↑31 Oct 2026, 17:29but that 6th round was round of the year, he hurt Munguia with an uppercut then proceeded to leather Munguia heavily, how he never went down is beyond me

Though it was the right call, if Zon had been in the same trouble in the 6th, he would’ve stopped it byhandsofstone wrote: ↑31 Oct 2026, 17:29 Munguia wins it in the second half, Zon was arguably up after 6, he was tricky, looked slow and a bit sloppy, didn't look the puncher his record suggested, Munguia had the quality though, some of the body shots he caught Zon with looked sickening, Zon looked wide open as well, thought Munguia was gonna nail him but that 6th round was round of the year, he hurt Munguia with an uppercut then proceeded to leather Munguia heavily, how he never went down is beyond me, several times he was gone but he just kept coming back then eventually hurt Zon, madness, neither guy was same thereafter, fight fizzled out Zon lost a lot of steam, still nails but Munguia done enough down the stretch, hurt Zon to the body in the 11th as well

Agreed. Weeks was terrible. But even with those two knockdowns I’d have Munguia squeaking the decisionHeldenjaeger wrote: ↑31 Oct 2026, 17:31But he did got down twice, Weeks just didn't bother counting.handsofstone wrote: ↑31 Oct 2026, 17:29but that 6th round was round of the year, he hurt Munguia with an uppercut then proceeded to leather Munguia heavily, how he never went down is beyond me

I’m surprised so many people have the African winning against Canelo. I think Alvarez’s experience will tell though Mbilli is in great shape

Canelo is a huge betting favorite, I think some fans just get carried away by hate when it comes to Canelo.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑31 Oct 2026, 17:34 I’m surprised so many people have the African winning against Canelo. I think Alvarez’s experience will tell though Mbilli is in great shape
