I will add the results from the danish card in this thread as they come, and from 21 CET (2½ hours form now) I will try to give round by round.

The camera was following Beyer from the dressingroom to the ring, on the way the crossed Thomas Hansvolls dressing room. He was in the shower, he he looked very surprised that he suddenly was on the telly nude.

During the anthems Kessler had the Palle lawyer in his corner, so much for trusting the officials.

Round 1
Here we go.
Beyer southpaw, Kessler orthodox.
Kessler is taller and got longer reach.
Kessler trying to get his jab going.
Kessler have so far only jabbed, beyer have tried to throw this right hand to the body a couple of times.
So far Kessler's foot is on the outside, so he have learned something in sparring.
Quite first round, Kessler wins it by being more active.

Beyer being told to be more active by coach Wegner, and by being told I mean he shouts at him.

Round 2
Btw, should there be a accidental headbutt it will be WBC rules that are in effect.

Kessler still jabbing a lot.
Begins to fire the straight right, but Beyer covers up.
Beyer is not during a lot offensive wise.
Kessler have the middle of the ring.

Kessler lands a decent right to the head.
Kessler jabbing.
Kessler fires some combos, doesnt really land, crowd goes crazy.
Beyer is throwing is left to the body a lot at the moment.
Beyer down with 10 secs to go
Its over.

Looked like a couple of jabs then a straight right, but Ill see at the replay.

Replay:
Beyer was moving forward, Kessler fires a left that land right on the chin, then follows up with a right.

Beyer is marked over his eye for the jabs he has been taking.

I wouldn't necessarily call it the end for Markussen, but looking at his weight - I do have to question if he wants it. He was a good bit of the Super Middleweight limit.

He did never lose the EBU title in the ring, so could maybe go through that route. However, not sure if he wants it..... bit of a shame as he has some talent.

Good win for Sergei (and also makes Eastman's more recent record look a good bit better). He should have the immediate shot at the new EBU champion.
