"European Super-Featherweight title challenger Sergio Palomo will dethrone champion Alex Arthur according to 16th Century seer Nostradamus.
Edinburgh star Arthur makes a risky defence of his title against the unbeaten Spaniard on Saturday 4th November at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall and the famous French prophet, who lived from 1503 to 1566 and predicted many of the worlds major events, reckons he will lose the title to Palomo.
Nostradamus wrote, "At the end of the tenth month of 2006, the King of Spain will cross the Pyrenees with his army,"
"The legions will win the battle on the plains of central Europe,"
"The defeat will vanquish the wicked and the triumphant king will take the Holy Grail back to Spain."
The 30-year-old from Madrid believes this prediction applies to him winning by knocking out Arthur and taking the crown back to Spain.
"It has been predicted by Nostradamus over 500 years ago that I will beat Arthur and the great man has rarely been wrong," said Palomo.
"Many thought that the prophecy was meant for the Spanish football team in the World Cup or the tennis star Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon but they did win this year so I know it's meant for me,"
"He has foreseen many of the big events of our time and me winning the European title and bringing the crown back to Spain will be a major victory for my country,"
"The only thing he didn't predict is the round I will knockout Arthur in but I will predict that, I reckon it will be inside five rounds.""
