There's a possibility yes, but something tells me that terms will never be agreed. It's a good domestic tussle, but in world terms it's not big, and Calzaghe is looking for cash out fights at this stage, I cannot see him fighting for more than another 2 years with the state of his mitts.

Quite right, let's see Clinton and Calzaghe sweep up the sanctioning bodies' belts, then they can fight one another. Imagine that, what a crazy notion, two undisputed champs from 168 and 175 going at it.

I know, I'm insane, this is boxing, it couldn't happen.....could it? :o

Hobson will make these kind of fights happen for Hatton but ever since Clinton won the IBF belt all he's talked about for Woods is Tarver or Jones.

Yet for Hatton he talks up the likes of Castillo or Mayweather, then gives him Callazo and Maussa(good only for the belts). No offence but Warren would of got Callazo and Maussa standard fighters too.

Precisely, the sanctioning bodies will soon kow-tow to pressure from the promoters who fill their pockets, and sanction useless and undeserving mandatories and then strip Calzaghe and Woods of their titles for refusing to fight some venezuelan/ukranian/belarussian/argentinian street hobo with an inflated record, little ambition, and no chance of winning.
