Jaffa (aka Zafarou) Ballogou was the 1st guy to beat Dean Francis. Dean was stopped late after running out of gas. It was too early in his career.
Ballogou then went on to challenge Frankie Liles for a super middleweight world title, but got a bit of a beating and was well beaten.
Ballogou is still fighting. He's a light heavy now. He has had defeats to Guillermo Jones and Syd Vanderpool, but he also scored a good KO of Joseph Kiwanuka a couple of years ago. He's on a 3 fight winning streak right now and is set to fight in Vegas next.
Why don't Francis' ppl try & get the guy? Dean is going down to light heavy. The fight could have some real symmetry to it.

Ballagou vs Champman 1, had possibly the strangest ending I have seen in a fight. Chapman was KO right on the bell for the final round.
I think Francis should stay on the domestic scene for a bit - try and get in with Keeton and then assess. I think if Francis' shoulder can hold out he should be too much for Ballagou.
